I have been offered £350 for the first 3 services at the Toyota main dealers, I have never owned a new car or had one serviced at any garage, I have always had old cars and done the work myself,
They said for 3 services seperately it would have been £550, should I ask for more off the combined 3 year services ?,
Or is £350 a fair price ?.0 -

I work for a part suppliers an to say we are quiet is an understatement!!
Anyway..... Im looking into all of this umming an arrrring over it being worth while? my car albeit 10yrs old has been in my family for 8yrs and is a very reliable solid piece of machinary and to cut its life short to me seems a waste as it would do someone a nice run around when they only have a little bit to spend!?
However ive compared my insurance, tax and petrol costs to that of a 1.4 diesel and found i would save almost £1000 a yr!!
My conclusion is I now need to change vehicles - so do i a) buy a new one, which once configured with the mod cons i currently have is about £8500 even on an aygo! and then go without a car while i wait for delivery or b) buy a newer 2nd hand car instantly, trade mine in and pay a lower price?
I cant do it until september, if I trade as I havent had it in my name for a yr til then but my tax and mot run out the time i got it so ll have to fork out for that if i scrap!
Someone please direct me as my head is full of nothin but car configurations at the moment!! also do any dealers offer a 5yr payment plan??
Thanks for readin my ramble lol0 -

10 year old cars get parts from the scrapyard!0 -
Well, the tax you can get back once you have ordered. Is the MOT likely to be expensive then?
In theory you could order now with your current MOT, insurance and tax - most cars are now on factory order up to 12 weeks delivery.0 -
Do I get to keep my car while my new one is on order then? I thought they took it there an then!! MOT will fly through - £30 all done so no biggy, just had new tyres aswell but can swap them with someone!
hmmm I guess now its just looking at the finance deals about and telling my dad what im thinkin of doin to his much loved car!!0 -
No LOL, you keep the car til your new one is delivered0
