An admin fee charged by the dealership (WJ King) including £20 fuel0 -

Have you changed the company name then? Not just added Ltd onto it I take it. (Thats all we did)
If thats the case, I think you need to ask the scrappage team and get their answer in writing.

I think you have been fed bull. Mine went through OK (an SMax too, on ford acquire with scrappage). I did need to go back to the dealership and sign a ford document stating I didnt mind them scrapping the car and reclaiming the car voucher on my behalf. Then again this could be the dealership being "nice".
Dealdrivers has cleared this up. Until 29th May the documents needed to be IDENTICAL, i.e. if it says Ms on your driving licence then it needed to be Ms on the V5 scrappage car. This has now changed so my original post is defunct.
edit: Cat C write offs can be masked too it seems (under certain circumstances).
I spoke to a woman today who (in relation to my current car's registration document having me and my ex-partner's names on it, and the new car just being for me) that as long as the registered address wasn't changing, there'd be no problem...
What's the betting that when I take everything in to the dealer they give me a different story...?

Interesting, I can see more & more dealers doing this as they're only making small profits on scrappage deals, yet they have to do alot of work for the sale. Looking at the tick sheet they supply, the PDI seems to be as much work as a service.Next year we'll be millionaires!0 -
Mark, if it was the scrappage team - get them to put it in writing, even an email which you can print off and give to the dealer.0

dont be fooled, my dad delivers new cars and trying to get a salesman out in the wind rain or snow to PDI a new car straight off the lorry can be like pulling teeth sometimes, unless its something they have a particular interest in like a new model. they gie them a quick look over the body panels and a quick look inside and thats about it. its just a quick visual, even although it says all fluids checked, tyre pressures checked etc, etc, its all bull$hit. its merely a paperwork exercise....work permit granted!0 -
