The i20 is lovely, looks really nice and on the middle spec (its called comfort I think) has loads of stuff like heated and electric wing mirrors, 15" alloys etc and it looks really nice. To be honest its a much better buy than the Mazda 2 (what we plan to get) as you get more car for less money and they even look similar but because the car is for my mam she found it a little bit big especially for reversing which is probably the ONLY reason we didnt choose it
We test drive the Mazda 2 on Monday and I plan on trying to get her to look again at the i20 because its fab (and cheaper)!! I love my gorgeous little girl0 -
Wow, the orange is fantastic, they had the sport version in the showroom and my god it was nice :j I used to have a really sporty Primera p11 in burnt orange and everyone commented on it....
We are thinking orange, green or silver...you dont have a pic of a green one do you!!?? I love my gorgeous little girl0 -

Thanks jb66, test drive is in the afternoon along with a i10 test drive (will try to change this for i20) but to be honest I think we will order the Mazda 2 in Orange :j:heart: I love my gorgeous little girl0

We have an 11 year old Clio and would be ideal to put forward to gain the allowance on a new Mazda 2, but unfortunately as we all know its not old enough ! So whats the possibility of a friend buying the Mazda on our behalf using their 13 year Clio, we then in return donate are 9 year old Clio to her. would the dealer accept this ? only my main concern would be registering the new vehicle in our name. Would this be feasible !
Many thanks in advance0 -
I guess you made a mistake in that first line re your Clio's age?
I spose you could do this, the dealer wouldnt be interested - its your friend who is buying the car and scrapping her 13 year old Clio. It would be between you and you friend once the deal was done Id have thought. As you will be paying the money out, I guess you trust them that much then.
You couldnt first register it in your name, it would have to be registered in your friends name - thats where the trust bit has to come in.0 -
Exactly, an 11 year old car is old enough ..
So probably a mistake..

If your car is 11 years it qualifies.
If indeed this is a mistake and your car is not eligible, you would have to do the following:
Trade in the 13 year old car for a new mazda 2, in the 13year old car owners name.
Transfer the name on the v5 document to your name and you will be the owner but it will show there has been 1 owner already (even though it would have been a short while)
Then you could give your own car to your friend.0 -
