LOL I said "meant" - as in SHOULD, NOT would
Keep them beady eyes peeled RevSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
Thanks for everyone's advice, just cancelled without any cancellation fee, phoned customer options number at just gone 8am and had the contract cancelled by 8:20am result.0

Sorry but I have a bit of a mental block with phones - my brain goes to mush!
I'm with 3 with 10 months of contract to go. I have rang and, thanks to you all, got my pac and confirmation of no early termination fee.
Am i right in saying the contract will not actually cancel until i use the pac (on a shiny new Nokia 5800). If that's correct, when will the contract actually cancel - is it 30 days on from when the pac is used?
ThanksUh?0 -

I just PAC'ed out to Vodafone £15 SIM only deal, so I'll have 300 minutes and unlimited texts to use all over Europe this summer. My number's changing over on Thursday - bye bye 3! Friday would normally be the start of a new 3 bill, so I've timed it quite neatly. I'll also have free internet for the first month in the UK, which I'll cancel just before leaving for the summer since data isn't included in Vodafone Passport. 3 are very silly to loose all their customers like this... I would have been happy to stay with them if they had kept 3 like home!

Ah, yes, of course. Indeed I shall.
Yes dynamo, what you said is correct, I've just had my final bill.
I meant on a 3 envelope, not the forum - just to clarify
I got a cheque refund from 3 many years ago when I requested a PAC it appeared 4 weeks later after final bill - cheque for IRONICALLY £3 !
Never cashed it, thought £3 might buy a India operative a customer service/training FOR DUMMIES manual with the rupee conversion for 3GBP
1 down, thousands to go.......SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
3Global Services are outbranching from just HWL companies - due to a high loss of 3UK customers (:rotfl:) & the 3AU & Voda AU merger.
Vodafone AU call centres in Sydney & Hobart Tasmania are taking the new joint company (VHA) customer care from Global & 3AU will no be longer serviced by Global - just 3IRE & 3UK, 3AU Stores will be rebranded Voda as Voda AU stores are all dealers & are being closed down to save commission fee's, 95% staff of 3AU are being made redundant, the other 5% are being reallocated to VHA's head office - Voda AU, Chatswood, Sydney.
Vodafone UK & Vodafone AU mobile broadband support has been moved to a 3rd party contractor - Vodafone Egypt !!!
"it's good to be Three !" FREE more like!.......... & it certainly is for the Australia - CUSTOMER CARE looms !!!

This goes out to all the disgruntled 3 customers in UK & AU........

Very interesting, diamonds. Several companies seem to have gone bust recently who, well lets say aren't known for great customer service (ahem, tiscali, setanta). Looks like 3 might be heading the same way...0

As far as I'm aware, the contract will end 48 hours after you use your PAC code, which will be when your mobile number switches from 3 to your new provider. I'm assuming that you will be billed only up to that date. Other people further ahead than me will be able to confirm!

3CS told my friend that they will charge up to 30 days after issuing the PAC code, no matter when u gonna use it. They suggested to use the PAC code about 20 days after receving it to avoid double charge from different network. I am so confused whether I should sign up a contract and use my PAC code now, or to follow my friend.0 -
