Hi everyone. Internet has been down all day and only just come back on, grrrrrr! Still I got a lot done. 3/4 of the burnt skin has come of just by lightly touching it so now is quite literally raw skin which is very sore. Still savlon and copius amounts of wine downed (actually not even enjoyed) when it was really hurting helped a bit. Will pop out for sunblock tomorrow, but at least the fact that most of it has peeled means quicker healing and easier to sunblock during the day and cover with make up in the evening. Am thinking within a week it will be barely noticeable so thats good, just sore in the meantime.

Im leaving home tomorrow for holiday so will be the last time I post for nearly 3 weeks. I hope everyone gets on well, and no doubt I will think of this thread when I am gorging! I will eat lovely fresh fish though which will hopefully balance out some of the ice creams. To be perfectly honest though only a tiny bit of me cares as while losing weight I have lived by the motto "only eat it if its really worth it" in terms of enjoyment and I shall do the same on holiday (well that means i will eat a lot lol) and be confident that I can make up for it when I get back.

    Take care all.

Oh and POLKADOT - if you are reading this hun then I hope you are looking after yourself xxxx

morning! well went tot he farmers market with every intention of buying lovely fresh veggies . . . did get some tomato marinated butterbeans, but mostly cakes, and cheese. Had a lovely afternoon round a friends being boinged on by her springer spaniel and finished with a chinese. so not a great day for a food, but the cake i bought wasn't overly special so i threw it away, and stoppedeating cake when i was full so left some of it. Not an all out disaster, and i did have a lovely day. Victory your buffet sounds lush! and yowch dmv, hope you are feeling better and have a great holiday!

    Morning all,
hope you have a lovely holiday DMV.

I'm mid-TOTM, and feeling rather grotty today. I've done a few chores, but really don't feel like it today. The washing is on the line, and I'm doing some sewing, while facebooking/MSE'ing and watching TV.

Food has been OK-ish over the w/end, but I could do with stocking up a bit more on some fresh veg, etc. I got fruit & salad, but forgot veg the other day.

I'm trying to still fill up on veg, and keep the protein high, but the carbs lower. It doesn't always end up perfect, but the theory is there.

Today we only had enough milk for a couple of us to have cereal, so I had wholemeal toast so that my youngest and eldest could have their frosties. Adding milk to the shopping list now...

    Have a good day everyone.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

No weigh in for me this week. Was too scared/lazy to do it yesterday, I really was gonna go today, but my DS has woke up feeling sick and is dizzy  I personally think he ate too much milk products at his father's house over the weekend. He's lactose intolerant and whilst he can tolerate little bits, if he has too much he ends up on the toilet for a couple of days

Started well today though, with a bowl of special K, my trusty apple, and a bacon sarnie for lunch(yes early lunch as i've been on the go since 5). No doubt will have a couple more apples throughout the day to keep me going. Tatties n mince for dinner, which I'm not a great lover of, so won't eat much of that.
