Hi all. Exam yesterday was awful! Had a pre arranged pub lunch and avoided the j20's which was a mini victory as I only ever have them with lunch at the pub and its become a habitual treat. Dinner was prawns cooked in garlic served with baby leaf salad, cucumber and red and yellow peppers. The salad was so colourful but had something less exciting than the prawns been there then it wouldn't have been so yummy/exciting.
I had to give the dog 4 tablets in the afternoon for her routine fleas/worming which cost me an absolute fortune as always. Then OH gave her a prawn which later made her throw up everywhere! Just hope the pills did their magic as I really dont want to go out and buy more today. One of those men not thinking moments I think.
Had a lovely walk yesterday when I took the dog swimming. Beach was absolutely heaving though, normally dont see many people at all.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Sorry been MIA recently have been reading but haven't had a lot of time for posting. Haven't been doing a lot of training as I didn't make the final team for a sports competion but as I'm a reserve I have to turn up to all training sessions and then mostly just stand around in the sun. Luckily there's only a week left as I'm starting to resent not having the time to exercise.
Speaking of exercise I've finally found a shortish running route round my village and I will run it this evening. Now it's in writing I have to do it.
Sary I think you're right. As I'm getting closer I'm getting lazier, but I'm going to have to nip it in the bud as otherwise I'll be back where I started in a couple of years. Iknow this from bitter experience.
BM he's gorgeous.0 -

I am sooooo mad!
Since it was a nice day we decided to go to the pub over the road, we sat outside so DD could play in the park and we could keep an eye on her, all was fine. Then our food came, before we even took a bite a flock of seagulls descended on us, stole OH's chicken, loads of my chips and DD's nuggets, their gross ugly feet were all over it. YUK. Anyways the pub wouldn't even REPLACE the food, said we could buy more though. IT COST US £22!!
Won't be going there ever again, so I'm now £22 out of pocket and hungry!0 -
Oh BM that's horrible, they could have at least warned you about the gulls.
Vix is there any way I could be a 32E when measured in one shop and then a 36D in another shop. Any guidance on how I know which is right?0 -

Try https://www.vetsuk.co.uk they have Frontline flea treatment on there for half the price my vet charges, and it's almost next day delivery too.
They also have worming tabs, but as mine is only a couple of ££ from the vets I don't bother buying it from there.

Thanks for the website. Had a quick look and with the amount of worming tablets needed it isnt really much cheaper. Also she wears a flea collar so she doesnt need flea treatments regularly, just I noticed her scratching. I now realise she is just very itchy through moulting! Will save it as a favourite tho as always handy!
Got a massive salad pot of fresh mango for £1 today so OH and I are gorging and watching tv tonight!0
