Photos for KPC -- not finished yet as you can see, there are doors still to be fitted and the extractor tube isn't done ...... but it's almost done.

    Granny, very nice indeed.

Been a bad week here. Had kebab on Thursday because i was just too lazy to cook. And for some reason my niece and nephew invited themselves round last night. Had forgotten it was my nephew's bday, and we ended up having a chinese and getting very drunk. Dreading the weigh in later on today.

OOOOOOhhhhhh Granny - I so want that kitchen - it's gorgeous - I'd love a kitchen that was big enough to sit and eat in: if I ever move that will be on the list. You are so going to enjoy using that: you waiting 30 yrs for that:T

EDIT - just spotted the coker hood -utterly georgeous.

Been awol for a couple of day I think and haven't caught up with every one but need to make the most of the sunshine. Might have some exciting news later (no Vix, I havn't been proposed to:D).
In the mean time, getting down and dirty with the de cluttering but loving all the windows and doors open. Very happy NOT to be on the beech in this weather. I'm a shade kinda girl.

Mazz - fantastic nes of the SIZE 14:T.
Victory - selling the wii that you really wanted so you could pay bills, and later be able to buy DS his beloved lego: so touching to read. You are a great mum and don't your forget it.

Wow Granny your kitchen looks FANTASTIC!!! :T:T:T You and BB have really put me to shame... mine started in January and is still far from finished :o The way it's going KPC's will be done before mine too :p

I've been away for a few days so I've missed a few pages on here, hope everyone's OK :) I'm feeling smug because it was my first overseas trip where I don't seem to have gained any weight :j

Victory - hope your son enjoys his new Lego! I'm sure he will!!!

Raph, I've never regretted spending good money on my 'gadget'. It does everything I want it to do for all my different activities (the only exception being I can't use the HRM function for swimming).

BB is this potential exciting news the same exciting news you have hinted about before?! :D Have to say I'm getting quite impatient :rotfl:

Oh BB I hope you won't be upset -- it's not really white just still wrapped up in plastic. Underneath it's shiny silver (I think).

Victory -- just wanted to reinforce what BB said, you truly are a great mum.

Grannny, I'm gutted:D. Still a delicious shape though.

    Part of the Furniture
Almost forgot to post - its a STS for me this week. Have just had some very yummy cod for lunch and now going to see if anyone says the lino I wanto for my bathroom floor. The big decision then is whether I spend the afternoon trying to fit it or spend a couple of hours enjoying the sun in the garden. I think the latter - seems silly not to take advantage of this weather.

BB - it really sounds like you are in the swing of de-cluttering now, and your posts are getting more and more upbeat the more you do! It's great to hear. Well done, and glad all your hard work and perseverence are paying dividends at last. I have to say I am going to be peeking back at this thread all day now I know there's some exciting news on the horizon!

    - well done for bagging that bargain for your LO, and for selling the dress you know you'll not wear again. As others have said, sacrificing the Wii a few weeks back to pay bills shows what a caring mum you are, and finding the cash to buy the Lego must have taken some budgeting too, so well done!

I'm having a bit of a lazy day today, but my chores are mostly done, and the garden is purely maintenance at the mo. I need a trip to the garden centre again, as I've run out of bedding plants, and need a couple of new shrubs, but I reckon if I go tomorrow, after the busy weekend, I'll bag some 'limp' bargains, and nurse them back to life, but get them at half price or better. It'll be quieter tomorrow too, as the kids will be back at school, and most parents back at work.

BF is watching the MotoGP, and nursing a rather sore back. He's unsure what's gone in it, but he's in quite a bit of pain, and really suffering with it. He's got an underlying problem there anyway, which flares up, but I think it's on his left side this time, which isn't the same thing. Hoping the ibuprofen and rest will help it recover today. He had 2 years unable to work due to it about 4yrs ago, so it's always a worry.

Will be checking in regularly for news! Til later...
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Thanks Sary - well, you need bait your breath no longer. I've done it. ......
I've just ordered a bicycle:j. The significance of this is huge: 18 months ago I didn't know is I would be able to drive again, was on 2 sticks and needed help turning over in bed let alone getting out of it.

I own a good quality drop handle bar touring bike that I have never been able to let go of but with the remaining arthritis in my neck and wrists/ elbows etc, was too unfortable to ride now. So I recently discovered 'Dutch' bikes where you sit bolt upright - got to test ride some and found it was a pleasure to ride ( I 'only want to do things like cycle along the seafront on a day like today - got an 8 mile cycle path).

However dutch bikes are very very expensive: to cut a long story short I have finally taked the decision to order what is called a hybrid - sacrificing some of the style of those beautiful bikes, for paying half the money and still having the bolt upright element.
So very excited and a little nervous, hoping it truely will meet my needs. Should be here Tuesday:j:D:j

The touring bike will be going on ebay shortly:D(Somebody hold me to that one please)

Downstairs is now full of stuff I want to get rid of. I shall be glad when it is out of the house so I can't do any last minute dithering/mind changing.

It's just so fantastic to be feeling well enough to tackle all this; normally I can do about 5 mins before having to sit down so I'm loving making hay while the sun well and truely shines.
