They said they'd post out letters tonight to us both to let us know who got it!! Post usually gets here about 1pm, so I'll be back then to let you all know............ :)

    Hey everyone!

FFM - stunning week there! Congrats on the big effort and on seeing off that gain (even though it wasn't even a 'bad' gain). Hope you're feeling tip top for your two events.

BB you sound so upbeat at the mo, it's brilliant. Really excited for you about the bike! It sounds very classy and I can't wait to hear how you get on! :D

Easier week for me last week due to half term & mini holiday :D I stuck to 2000 cals/day for 4 days - the other 3 went uncounted, I have put an estimated 2000/day but it might have been a bit more. Weight has been stable (no 'hard' exercise, and a net average of 1678/day). Now if I've been gaining on lower cals (& lower net), and STS on higher ones, how on earth am I supposed to lose this few extra lb?
    • Monday: Mountain biking 8.2km | 41 mins | 209 cal | Run 5.8km | 40 mins | 209 cal
    • Tuesday: Run 5.8km | 40 mins | 292 cal
    • Wednesday: Nothing (travelling to France)
    • Thursday: Badminton in hotel garden | 30 mins | 145 cal
    • Friday: Open air swim lengths of 50m pool | 30 mins | 154 cal | Sightseeing jogging around the city 10km | 83 mins | 587 cal
    • Saturday: Run around picnic area during driving break 4.1km | 30 mins | 212 cal
    • Sunday: Skipping rope (back home) | 30 mins | 196 cal
Total 5 hrs 24 mins, 2073 cal burn, 5 different activities.

Good luck this week everyone and hope the sun keeps shining!

A 0.9 lbs loss for me this week. Have to start eating more cakes :D

I've splashed out and bought myself the Forerunner 205 (£122 from Amazon! :p)
I also bought myself this dress today. I'm going to wear it to a friend's wedding reception and to my step-sisters wedding. It's also nice enough for a night out so well worth the £60. I've never spent so much on one outfit before!

Come on Raph, let's have a picture of YOU in the dress when you wear it to the wedding. It looks great, I love the colour.
Now if I've been gaining on lower cals (& lower net), and STS on higher ones, how on earth am I supposed to lose this few extra lb?
It would seem that by eating MORE then Missy you might lose? Or lower calories and less exercise? Either of those is logical from what you've said but at the same time makes no sense.:confused::rolleyes::confused:

    Good luck Scottishlass!

Raph I second Granny' request, that dress looks lovely.

Had a bit of a mad eating session involving quite a bit of chocolate last night and I think it was purely due to boredom. Will have to find ways to distract myself. Plenty of potential distractions tonight - dooyoo, ironing, frost/nixon, avoiding the ironing, studying, marking and if I get really desperate tidying up!

Raph, well done on the loss and the Forerunner. You will have to start posting your results on the exercise thread.

    Pretty dress.

Thanks missy. Very very pleased with myself: have just listed old one on ebay already. Go me:D
Wow raph - that dress is stunning. Bet you look great in it. I echo granny's request for a photo of you in it.
Spose I'd better write something on topic: been enjoying a few more salady evening meals. I'm hoping I've been working off a few calories going up and down the attic steps a dozen times an hr these last few days.

    Goodluck scottish Lass:T
kpc - 'architect' sounds like a big project. Hope you have some before pictures.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Hi all. Great news on the bike BB. Im so glad you have been feeling good lately. Lately my back has been more stiff/achey/annoying than it has dreadful pain needing medication so like you I have been enjoying the sun and getting stuff done. Am still having to be careful with my ankle though so havent been pushing myself too hard. I should really be doing uni work but have decided I have just had enough and want to focus on house/holiday stuff this week before I go, and would rather push myself a bit more (to make up for it) once I'm back refreshed and ready to give it my all again.

Food wise has been a pretty mixed bag lately. For example I knew I would be having a takeaway pizza for dinner so my combined breakfast and lunch totaled at just over 250 cals. Doesnt cancel out the pizza but was definitely a bit of damage control. OH and I took the dog to the beach yesterday. Worked up a real appetite running about with her so then enjoyed a bit of sunbathing (with her inbetween us!) and some tuna (light) mayo sandwiches which, as I dont eat sandwiches very often, were utterly gorgeous! Cannot get into that habit reguarly though. I know cereal is not particularly healthy, but know I will probably be having cereal for lunch a few times a week over the summer. It wont be as an intentional diet "thing" but something I tend to do when I'm at home and hot as its easy and I like it. Being relatively low cal compared to other lunch foods is a bonus, and hopefully it will help balance out (the inevitable) holiday weight gain.
