Fantastic that you had a good day BB and made such magnificent progress on both the decluttering and rearranging fronts.

Welcome purplestar and good luck with your weight loss. Stick with us and you won't give up your new eating plans. Just keep posting and we won't LET you give up!

Fingers are crossed for good news about the interview, Scottish Lass

The walking a bit fast and a bit bouncy went well yesterday. I trotted for about 10 minutes out of the 30 I spent on the treadmill, then did a bit of cycling, then a bit of swimming, then went in the sauna. No aches and pains to speak of so tomorrow I' ll have another go. I can't believe how excited I am about a bit of bouncy walking. :o

The kitchen is almost finished.:j:j I have all the appliances in now and working and tomorrow I'm going to start putting the food and everything back in there. Taking a tip form these life laundry experts - everything that goes in will have to justify its place ... so freecycle could be in for a few additions. Photos tomorrow I hope.

We started geocaching today and I was browsing for little items to leave in any caches we visit. I've got to get some, but my user name on geocache.com is not FFM.

    Hi ms_lo.ndon
    Good to see you :)
Hope all is well with you ? & you are happy & healthy.
Someone on the thread got engaged & it just brought up lots of stuff for me about how you start off wth lots of hopes & dreams & then loose them somewhere along the rocky road.
Im ok though, just struggling a wee bit about lots of stuff at the mo.
    Take care.

Aww well if you ever need to chat, I'm here. Although not exactly a bundle of laughs myself at the moment, things are a bit pants at the mo, but then, after the last 2 years, I suppose that would be a lot to live up to! Oh well.

Sometimes our life path just veers us of course slightly, so our hopes and dreams may take a little longer than usual, but never completely out of sight. Still, it is hard, and I understand! Like I say, if you want to chat.

Everyone seems great on this thread so will def pop back as I def have the weight to lose and the endolphins (i know i know, endorphins! ;)) wouldn't be a bad thing right now.

    xx

What is geocaching? I've never heard the expression before. I'm guessing it's to do with hiding things in holes ??? but why?

(I just hope it doesn't turn out to be rude - last time I asked it was a bit :o:o:o)

ah, if it twere only that simple vix, but I've felt carp since the last chemo (non cancer) drug I take every friday, but thanks anyhoo. Sometimes it hangs around too long. As for the de-cluttering: I am def at the stage were it all looks words at the mo before it actually leaves the house:eek: but with more energy I feel optimistic I can get on top of it.

I always had candles to blow out vix - as you say, or I didn't get the wish but mind were stuck in other things.
Thanks too granny: can't wait to see kitchen pics.

FFM - I've really fancied geocashing and you've reminded me to have a go, so thanks.
Ms London - please stik around, you are very welcome.

Granny - if you google it you'll find a website - it is a kind of treasure hunt and looks a lot of fun:

    BB and Granny

Yes it was good fun. I recently bought a GPS to help me stay 'not lost' when I go hiking (particularly in the woods) - sometimes a map just does not help.

Anyway, OH has always fancied geocaching (he's a couch potato at heart) and the little monkeys were interested in a 'treasure hunt' - so we all went out for a hike in the woods to locate a 'cache'.

We found a little camoflage bag, with a cache box, inside was a necklace, key ring, and the log book. We logged our 'find' but didn't take anything as we hadn't taken anything to replace the items with.

Tomorrow we are planning a walk along the river where there should be about 4 to find. It's great to get the LO's out of the house. The dog thinks it's great to go walking as a pack. Should help with the exercise :)

FFM I've never heard of this before, but what a great idea!! I was thinking of doing a scavenger hunt type of thing with my Beavers next week, but this sounds much better!!!! They'd love it! :j

Right, I'm away to bed to watch Caddyshack!!! :D Nite all!! xxxxxx
