:hello: Hey all! Well, I went for my interview this morning but when I got there I was told that the man who was meant to be doing the interview wasn't in, so I would be seen by his assistant & called back on Monday if they thought I was suitable. The woman was really nice though & it seemed to go well!! So fingers crossed I'll get a call back at some point today!
On a lighter note, when I was coming home on the bus I could feel something digging in under my arm & when i looked down there was a piece of metal poking out of my jumper. When I looked inside my top the underwire from my bra was sticking out!! :rotfl: I tried to poke it back in discreetly but it wouldn't go back, so (in the middle of a bus full of folk from where I live, who'd been at the over 50s keep fit) I had to pull out the whole wire & put it in my shopping bag!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:.•¨¨*:•..•

Hi everyone, been viewing this website for ages to save £££'s but now its time for me to lose lb's I guess this will be my new favourite thread
Just got diagnosed with PCOS today so weight loss is gona be a huge factor in easing the symptoms for me so I just hope I can stick to it and dont give up so easily.
Anyways...just wanted to say hi to all the nice ppl here and well done on the weight lossmoney cant buy you love....why cant i have both???currently watching my weight go down....59.5 lbs so far :j0 -
wow, I have had such a good day; I have felt completely well and it's been greeeaaaaat after a week of feeling like sludge.
It makes such a differnce and although I haven't gone mad, I have been able to get stuff done so I feel very good about that. 3 big items down from the attic and now on freecycle and big bag of paper rubbish now in recyling box.
Sawn the wood needed for next stage of putting up clothes rails in alcove but hoping OH will take up the reigns and do the hole in the wall drilling for that:o. Just realised cabinets I was also going to freecycle (which I original found flytipped) will make excelled shoe cabinet for us both(6ft+ high with potential for lots of shelves) So operation 'separate bedroom to living room' continus to shape up.
I always loved life laundry sary - I even got the book. If I felt like this everyday I could really get to grips with it all. Still one dayat a time and I'll keep enjoying this one rather than thinking about tomorrow.
Had bulgar wheat, salad leaves & feta for lunch. HM sweet pot soup for mid afternoon & tonight is chickpea & chorizo thingy which tastes fab and takes 10 mins to get. Will have mine in side bowl portion. I have had 5 biscuits though but I savoured every one.
We were going to asda this evening but we've decided to defer to tomorrow, which know doubt we'll regret then!
And just won a camera on ebay for my dad who really fancy having a go on a digital camera now he's seen my ebay one. At 81, I didn't think he should wait around too long for one and got it for £20 + postage.
Welcome purplestar:TLots of wonderful support here. And we have other members with PCOS. And a member of another forum I visit on MSE has been very sucessful since her recent diagnosis using the low gi diet.
Any plans for how you hope to lose the weight?
LOL SL at the bra wire! & good luck re the job.
Oh and belate congrats to mazza and kpc fpr sotw and sotm:T:T Great result:beer:I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

hey guys,
Polka: hugs to you, and i hope i can find you on facebook! might have to pm someone to point me in the right direction. You don't have to contribute positively on here, look at all of my posts
BB: Glad youre feeling better now! Maybe de cluttering has also de cluttered your mind. Or maybe thats a bit cliche! With you on the cake thing, im glad im not the only one there. I had a kit kat cake for my 14th, although i still get the cake (and mum moans every year) but otherwise i don't get to make a wish.
Scottish lass: Im crossing my fingers for you on the job front!! If you could send positive job vibes my way i would be very grateful!
I read in elle magazine about weightloss/exercise that is specific to your body shape. If i bring the mag over i will copy it out. I do know that if youre pear shaped you shouldnt do spinning classes because that will bulk you out too much but running is good. Plus you should do upper body strength work out to try and even yourself out. Good stuff!0
