evening all! just had a looooovely big bowl of sw carbonara so all pogged now. off for a soak in the bath and to think about how my shirt is looser on the arms now sary I am pretending you did not mention the i word.
granny, any more pics? I need to vicariously enjoy a kitchen! had a builder round tonight, not feeling very inspired. hoping tomorrow will go better. I've picked my curtains already, did i mention that?!0 -
Here's a bit of 'new' kitchen to keep you going kpcI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

Is that a stainless steel splashback BB? If so --- shiny or matt? And the drawer under the hob, what do you keep in it please? The tango kitchen looks great.
Fridge and freezer have reappeared in the kitchen :j:j and possibly by the end of tomorrow other appliances might be connected. But I'm not holding my breath.
This kitchen thing has been very good for discouraging snacking. It's been so difficult to find any food! Hope it pays off tomorrow for the WI.
PS How do you make the photo be that size? When I tried to post a photo it was MASSIVE and I gave up.0 -
Missy,
That's awesome - I'm jealous - I'm no where near that level of fitness!
I never bothered with the treadmill in Japan as I was so hooked on cycling.
I bought one of those cheap 'road runner' type folding bikes when I arrived back here and it's a NIGHTMARE - the slightest slope on the road feels like the side of a mountain .
I'm thinking a treadmill may be the way to go (given the Scottish weather). Once I move I'll def be looking into it. It's not an option at the moment as husband and I are already using up all of my mum's storage space with our boxes of stuff from Japan!
Beanie - I've PM'd you!

esteemed chart keeper.....
CAN YOU PLEASE ZERO ANY LOSSES AND GAINS FOR THE MONTH AND RESET MY TOTAL LOSS TO 3LBS PLEASE
I haven't posted in a while so haven't a clue where my numbers are at in terms of the chart so its easier this wayso zero everything apart from the total loss column which should now read 3lb.
Cheers

Dear Raph --- a 0.75 lb loss this week please. That's now 26.5 in total this year, and 3.5 this month.
Since I started (September 2007  ) I've lost 43.5lbs which is considerably more than my grandaughter weighs. I can lift my granddaughter but I can't carry her for more than a few steps which makes me wonder how I managed to move around before! What do other people use as their 'measures' of how their loss has affected them?0 -
Hi everyone:hello:
Amazed to report a -1lb loss
this better than I deserve after a weekend of feeling sorry for myself and the resultant comfort eating:D
Hugs to all the walking wounded and those feeling a little down, the best piece of advice I have ever been given is to "be kind to yourself" We all tend to judge ourselves far more harshly than we do others, kindness is good for everyone, including us!
Well done to everyone, losers, sts and gainers coz we are all still here!:T
Have a great day
