ragz can you post the 0 points WW soup please? Made the veg one...disgusting, made an asian one revolting, made a bean one in the bin, not very good at making soups me thinks:rotfl::rotfl:[/QUOTE]
Sorry for delay in posting.
Hia. The one I make goes like this (I made it up BTW)
Fry an onion and some cloves of garlic (finely chopped) with a finely chopped red chilli (optional) using spray oil.
Add 3 tins of tomatoes, a tin of tomato puree, a cup or two of hot water and splash of balsamic vinegar (could use worcester sauce, red wine, nothing...)
Season with lots of (preferable fresh) Basil,
plenty of salt and black pepper,
add a tablespoon of sugar (don't point this as there's a LOT of soup so spreads out, but I find it essential to the flavour)
Bubble for at least an hour or it will be too tomatoey! Add more water if it's too thick. Blend if required but I feel soup is more satisfying when lumpy!
Makes a great lunch or starter so you don't eat too much main course. Don't feel quilty if you need bread with it if you're having it on it's own as the soup itself is pretty much fat free and one of your 5-a-day!
Also very yummy, I served it to my inlaws at dinner!

Hi - may I join. I started with WW in March and have lost 17lb and dropped a dress size. Feel so much better and now want to do more exercise as I feel so much 'lighter' not like a beached whale! (apologies to them). I am very determined as I am very overweight and am enjoying my food better now. All the best to everyone and keep going it is a lifetime lifestyle change but once you are in the zone it comes naturally. Lizziebabe x :hello:0

TO THE PERSON DOING THE CHART THIS WEEK! I have only just realised that something has gone seriously wrong with my figures on the chart this week! It should read 1.5lbs lost this week, 2.5 lost this month, and a total loss of 20lbs. Im pretty sure thats correct but I will check tomorrow when I am more awake! When I post my loss/gain this week i will also post all the correct figures for week/month/total loss to be updated. Thank you very much and I'm sorry that I cant remember your name! (I want to say the unknown?)0

Missy I don't know how you do it. I can do a 10k run in one day on its own, I may be able to do a gentle swim the next day but ANY walking is absolute agony - keeps the guys in my office amused.
Not sure how long you've been doing the running Vixstar but I would have thought you'd find your recoveries start to become gradually easier/quicker as the body adapts. Are you seeing any improvements at all in your recovery over time? I'm absolutely not an expert but the phrase 'absolute agony' worries me a bit... don't like to think of anyone in agony from running.0 -
Granny I have the before pics, I'm just to embarassed to post them in public. Think I may have dropped another size too, those size 16 jeans i bought 3 weeks ago are needing a belt, and as all my belts are now too big for me, I feel a shopping trip coming on:o4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

morning all, first off, reporting a 0.6kg loss this week despite a slightly offpiste weekend. I mostly stayed good, but got bored on sunday and ate rubbish. nice weekend, nice people, someone had taken an xbox and all the stuff for rock star which on the one hand was fun, but also meant that we were mostly staring at a tv all weekend and not really talking. V relaxing, and a beuatiful place - http://www.brackenboroughhall.com/granary.html we booked all 3 of th apartments, there were 14 of us and including food it was £60 a head for sat, sun and mon breakfast!
welcome new guys and thanks for all the birthday wishes even though it's not my birthday. I also made a decision this weekend that I am going to really start saving up and when my remortgage is due in oct if the numbers work out I am going to get enough money to get my kitchen done, which will more than likely include making it bigger. IS now a good time to admit that I have already planned it with ikea?0 -
oops, some one slap me!
OH "convinced" me to order a kebab last night (after we'd had dinner earlier!) and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was good and only had a small chicken one with a lot of salad so not too bad on the points/cal/fat front but did go over my allowance a little. Making up for it today, soup for lunch I think!
Hope you enjoy the soup Victory. Instead of the sugar could use a squeeze of lemon juice or something else to take the edge off the tomatoes, otherwise jsut cook it a little longer so it mellows. I'm terrible for putting a pinch of sugar in all my recipes, from spag bol to stir fry (or using honey) and it does make a difference, while still using a lot less than they put in jars/ready meals.
Must behave myself next few days as WI on thursday evening (I hate that as when I weigh in the morning I'm a few lb lighter!).
Must step up the exercise but I find it so hard to get a chance. Can't go running/jogging/cycling as I have 2 toddlers at home and can't exactly take them with me. So I do exercise DVDs at home, (yoga and dance) but we only have 1 TV, which of course OH monopolises so have to wait until he either falls asleep early or goes out. Tried doing them during the day but trying to do Yoga with 2 boys running between your legs is rather hard.
It's a shame as my PMT is a lot better when I can exercise regularly. Not to mention the wight loss. Will have to come up with a plan...June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500
