DMV congratulations-that is such wonderful news.
Missy Glad you had a good day with Bails
I was spoiled today-first after playgroup one of the other girls asked if I wanted to join her at McDonalds-the kids loved it...I had a sweet chilli chicken without the chips so whilst not the best-I think not bad. Then another friend and I went to movies and spur for supper. I had ribs and baked potato-brought half the ribs back for DF.
I also did a bit of clothes shopping-I got 2 blouses, three tee shirts and 3 pairs of really nice summer pants for £20:j...
oh, and a bash on the head! I was standing at the till paying for something and the red cross shop. This staff member was standing at the tIll behind the cashier. He was holding this plastic crate over his head with one hand. I think he was trying to get at something but the cashier was in his way. It fell, and one of the corners of the box hit me on my forehead. I got a wave of dizziness, it passed and I left. But now whilst sitting in the movie it started really throbbing and was sore. When we got home I wanted to ask DF what he thought (did I need to go to A&E or should I wait) but he was so drunk and only thought it was funny:mad:0 -
Morning:Dthe flowers are getting torrential rain, so that saves me the job of watering them:D
Oh the crying on the prog the biggest looser is just getting too much now:rotfl: even my little one is like 'oh mum why do they cry every 2 mins?':rotfl: I can only watch it on catch up now so I can fast forward it:D
Yesterday little one was having a school disco, dad walked him up the road, little one starts hopping with both feet like a frog, then did it from side to side, he says 'come on dad, you know you want to, you know it is fun', so dad decides to it, the sight of them both hopping side ways up the road was hilarious:rotfl:0 -
Missy Glad you had a good day with Bails
Unfortunately for me, it was BB who had that pleasure, not meGlad you had a great time BB, I remember Bails telling us about her new posh gym ages ago, it sounds gorge!
As for A&E Polka I would say don't wait for someone else's opinion - if you think it was serious enough then get yourself down there, or at least get onto NHS Direct and explain what happened. If my son had a bump on the head and had some 'delayed' symptoms I would definitely be getting him checked out
Congratulations dmv, lovely to hear your happy news!
I'm experimenting today, instead of my usual 3 meals plus snacks I'm trying 6 similar-sized smaller meals spread evenly through the day. This is supposed to be a good option for active people, keeping muscles fed, avoiding energy dips and boosting metabolism. The extra planning involved has always put me off before, plus I like having good-sized meal portions usually, but I think it's time to give this a go now0 -
Sorry Missy I was thinking BB-I must have wanted to say something to you also:rolleyes:
I did phone NHS direct and they did ask me to go to A&E immediately. I have a mild concussion-so I've been given a concussion checklist with instructions to go back if I start to feel worse. Im felling better after my sleep now, although I still have the most horrible headache. When DF woke this morning and I told him he was very upset with himself...this friend that I went out with last night left her hubby here to keep DF company. They had a dozen beers between them so really not that much. But I looked in the recycling this morning and they had bought "tiger" which is really cheap and nasty:rotfl:I really wish they wouldnt do that.
So this morning we went to pick up a piano I found on freecycle for said friend and this afternoon we're taking our documents back to the estate agent-and going back to the house so that the boys can have a look."Saffer maatjie" will be staying with us for two weeks in June, because they are moving bases and they will be between assignments. The OH gets to come home on weekends so he'll be staying too.0 -

FFM - well done on that loss after a few small gains:T. You continue to prove to yourself that you can maintain your weight and keep up the healthy exercise too.
polka - I do thing you need to let the redcross shop know you had to go to A&E: they need to be more careful.
Yes missy - her gym is fabululous, though I am no expert but I loved the experience.
Going to have a strict sw red day today and no bread/pasta/rice etc. I have completely troughed the last 3 days due to unuual circs so need to get back on track. Had a quick peek on the scales and that certainly motivated me to not over indulge today.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
FFM you're my hero with your excellent maintaining!
:D:D
Well done on a brill week's activity and actually losing weight while still having a hearty calorie intake - that is great stuff.
Thank you for the 'net' figures as well, very interesting to see those trends. I was maintaining happily on approx 1750/day for a long time and netting at around 1300/day... then increased to approx 1900/day to coincide with extra exercise while still netting at around 1300, but I started gaining weight
Having seen your numbers I'm feeling a little more relaxed about stepping up to 2000/day, which is what I've started today. I've been nervous about this because I always associate it with eating too much (since it is considered the amount for an average female to maintain, and I'm smaller than average).
So thanks again for making me feel like it can be done - and well done!0 -
Oh if we're doing virtual then I'm so having a banquet!
:rotfl:Congratulations dmv, I love a good proposal story! In fact, I create a new one for myself each day
Hellooooooooo everyone! Still no time I'm afraid but I do miss you :iloveyou: Hope you are enjoying life, wishing you happiness xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

we need a photo of the ring DMV, and RAPH
Did i tell you i saved a duckling yesterday? Well i did. It was laying on the pavement, i thought it was dead but i saw its head move. Thats when i had to take it home to either get my dad to kill it or try and save it. I thought it might have been !!!!!! cos all it did was flip its head back but i didnt know if you could get retarted animals... but it turned out it was just drinking. I think it was heavily dehydrated cos 30 mins later it was standing and supporting its own head which it couldnt do before. I fed it milk and bread with a spoon and kept it warm in our towel. We named him dyson cos he sucked up the milk quickly! We then had no idea what to do next but to cut it short we took him to pets at home. He was so adorable.
So you may now call me mother viceresa
Work was flipping hardcore today, one girl vomitted twice in our fitting room which was a very pleasent smell to smell, especially mixed in with the lunch time BO fest that happens in there.
Oh and i had a chinese meal out with matty. It was really nice, im glad i went cos normally i'd be too wacked out but the chinese was calling my name.
I bought some st tropez fake tan in the week, fingers crossed guys i don't get confused with a satsuma tomorrow!!0
