DMV --- come on! No low key engagements allowed. Tell us all about it! Where? When? Ring? Date set? Did you cry? Did you know it was going to happen?
Congratrulations :j:j:j- and before Vixarooni gets in first- can I be a bridesmaid please? I've never been one.

Well I was up way before OH but I took him a coffee up and got back in bed to open my cards and presents and that was one of my presents. When I saw it I looked at him and then he asked me and I said yes then got all happy tears when he was cuddling me. The ring was one I had seen in a jewellery shop a couple of months ago and we have had a couple of biggish chats since then about marriage and kids, so he obviously went back and got it once he knew I would say yes! No date set yet as it will be a couple of years before we get married as neither of us are in any hurry so will just enjoy being engaged for now.
Oh granny I'm afraid I dont think we will be having ANY bridesmaids! Whilst part of me would like a big wedding and celebration with family and friends I think it would just be too much agro. Our families all live in different places to us (including different countries!) so there would be tons of travel even for just close relatives, and with my family it would have to be no one or everyone invited. Looking at how much it would cost both stress wise and financially to have the sort of wedding I would like here (even by being MSE) I would rather go abroad and swap listed buildings and corsets for floaty dresses and sunset beaches just the two of us and have a quiet ceremony and a great honeymoon all in one.
Well none of that was food related but I was aswering a question!0 -
Not to worry - I'll be a virtual bridesmaid. :j0
