Morning all. Including my dinner and toast I stayed under 400 cals last night and didnt snack so am pleased with that. I got on a bit of a roll with work tho so have just got up with 6 hours sleep and am knackered. I know thats normal for some people but I NEED 8 or more! Off to have cereal and shower, get dog out and be at uni for 12, then wont be home till about 8 as have a few things to do on my way home.
Welcome to the newbies, stick around as the support here is invaluable, I know I would have struggled a lot more had it not been for the brilliant people on here.0 -
Morning all - thanks for supportive words. The great thing about stressy times is that they make the good times simply blissful don't they. And life will never be without its ups and downs so i'm just trying to take it in my stride and know that nothing stays the same forever.
Had a wonderful day with my parents yesterday - we had glorious weather here but it's tipping it own today.
Missy - did you see the item on Nordic walking in yesterdays Country File? Looks like high energy walking with sticks so you get a whole body workout.
Vix - wonderful to hear you so happy in the new flat.
Sary - well done on keeping stum and glad you have had a good pay off.
Sorry I haven't replied to all your posts - I have read them all and ooohed, arged, sympathised and appluded as appropriate I promise.
Big welcome to mazza111 & dirty flannel.
And thanks raph for starting the new thread:TI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

I've now been trying for 4 hours to get on the Virgin Marathon site. I've finally gotten the 'Enter Ballot' button to come up, but no further!!
Going to give up for the minute and have lunch!

I'm supposed to be doing my birthday balloon ride tomorrow in Bristol, but it's supposed to be heavy showers, hopefully it's not cancelled

Aww you all moved without me! Wondered why there hadn't been new posts in the last thread hehe.
2lb LOSS for me this week :j, so I'm hoping within 2weeks I'll be into the new stone'age. 11 stone something doesn't seem so fat and I'm aiming for 10st 7lbs overall, though I'll probably lower that as I'm not blessed in the height department.
Had some Special K at 11 and still full from it, so think I'll skip lunch and just have my dinner at about 4'ish which is a roast but I'm trying to cut back on carbs so I wont be having and yorkie puds, roast potato's or mash. Just chicken and veg.
DD has barely eaten the past few days, I tried the starving her out approach and she just doesn't care?! She is such a picky eater and has started going off the food she DOES eat, all she wants is SWEETIES or ICE CREAM. Don't think so lass!
Never met a kid quite like her, she is always on the go, running around etc and barely consumes a morsel. No wonder my hair is going thin!
Have a good day folks!0 -
