Anyone know how to get an iron mark out of a carpet??????????

 Why were you ironing the carpet? If it's just the top of the tufts you can very carefully snip the burnt bits off.

the iron fell off when i was ironing, i jumped out of the way and picked it up straight away but its left an iron mark in the carpet. Im going to shampoo the carpet tomorrow and try razoring it. I say I but i will get the mother to do it i think with her expert hands.

As for the hormones....im not so sure!! I think i will find it very hard....i cant even go on the pill becuase its like a block of everything i feel. Save me some money on tampons i guess though. :p

Beanie - I think I am. I'm eating when I feel the need, and not feeling I'm going without. My BF wouldn't let me go without, believe me... he's like the food police. I will make sure I keep a tally though on foodfocus. I had cheese in my omlette, so I feel I had a nice treat there, whereas usually I'd have not allowed myself that, but with the exercise I'm getting I feel I can eat more of what I fancy.

VICTORY - I think your comment about crying and hormones was meant for polkadot?!

Right now to catch up on the rest of the posts...
  • thanks guys - things seem a little less stressy now and I hope this will soon be in the past.

Eating has gone a little off piste however. And as I eat more carbs I again finds I crave more... so once I've been paid I need to food shop fr MAy and get myself back on track with more protein
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

I went for a nap around 7pm, felt really run down and woke up feeling SO bad, I was shaking, couldn't even walk straight, so OH force fed me cereal with a banana and I feel loads better now. I don't think I had eaten much today TBH, Cereal for breakfast, and I didn't have much off the roast dinner and I had a handful of some of those YUMMY natural sour sweets and that was it.

Feel most annoyed he gave me FF milk though!
I did walk to & from the doctors today, which I don't think IS very far, but it's more than I would normally do (I'd usually jump on the bus :p) Oh just checked, 2miles, super fit me!

Thanks everyone...I can't say I feel BETTER now-but at least I can see the computer screen. I know it's mostly hormones, but then I dont feel like I'm pregnant so I'm just assuming is TOTM, plus I think my body is now flushed of all my meds. Which adds to the emotion with "Im not pg". Aside from that I found out that the girl I did the christening cake for has just got jobseekers...she doesnt plan to look for a job really because her baby is only 8 months old, shes lived in the uk for the same length of time as I have and she is not a UK citizen (and her boyfriend earns about £32000 a year. DF is putting a lot of pressure on me about finances too. I don't think he means it, but he rags me for the slightest thing I spend-especially cake stock. He says he does it because it's so easy to wind me up-but he wont do anything to help-wont call about benefits, wont come with to GP to help me insist on more long term treatment. I'm at wits end because it seems like all the friends I had a year ago are disappearing into their little luxury lives and big gardens and pushed me away because I cannot do the same. I'm tired of all the noise around me and the ch***y neighbours. I'm paying £700 a month to live in a one bedroom flat (nothing else included) with no garden and a banister that really is going to send me down the stairs one day it's so loose. DF's most recent patslip reflects NI contributions of £244.52 and I cant even get a studty grant or even an easier option to get around?
I dont want to keep it together anymore-I don't have the energy for it, and it seems like if you let it go around here people take you more seriously.

POLKADOT - I'm sorry to hear you are feeling low, I want to give you a big hug because its horrible to feel like that. I know the chances are that you are extremely money savvy etc, but have you looked on entitled to? That way you would be able to find out yourself if you could/should be getting anything extra (its all anonymous) and wouldnt have to rely on your OH to find anything out, just to sort it if you are due more, which will make him more likely to get on with it. As I said, you probably have already done it, but thought it worth mentioning.
