Hi everyone. Can I join this group please? I've lost 37lbs since the second week in January. Have been using my daughter's Wii fit and eating less fat. I wanted to lose weight for my 40th birthday on 2nd May but now want to carry on and see what my natural weight is. I've gone down 3 dress sizes and feel great.

Polkadot - some days are just crying days. I don't think it's always hormones - there just are days like that. I don't do hormones now .... but I do have the odd horrid day. Just keep thinking to yourself that the next day WILL be better.

Thanks (can't remember who it was:confused:)for the idea about the giant choc buttons -- a bag (unopened) reposes in my freezer. Thanks for all the other good suggestions too. I think the horrid days andthe 'I want to eat something BBAAAADDDDD' go together for me.

Fingers crossed for the weather tomorrow Raph, and for your marathon entry - I'm in awe.

    Hope today's less stressy BB.

If you didn't get eaten KPC did you get to go home with St George?

Well done to all you fit people and all you losers and STSers.

And welcome :wave::wave:to the new people. It's nice here.

Vix - I'm well impressed you'd consider a marathon!!! The 31st is the one in 2011, right? Training through the winter isn't so bad, I really feel the cold but I don't think I missed my weekly long run once. I found cycling harder than running during the winter.

haha, i know it is shocking that someone who does no exercise is going to consider it but i just feel (on a personal level) that it would be a fab achievement to say that ive done it. Maybe next year i will start thinking more about it and see if i can get matt to do it with me!

Raph: I hope you managed to register for next years and that your balloon flight goes ahead. Were forecasted better weather so i dunno how near you are to me.....i forget! Would be nice to see some piccies of it though.

Polka: Hormonal? Its always the answer for me! i seem weepy lately, i was all teary just watching the marathon! Hope you cheer up soon.

BB: hope youre not too stressed! i saw on facebook about your walk there and back, well done!

Fredsnail: Heya, hope everything is ok your end. Start looking after yourself! go shop and buy a nice dress...sorts out many a problem does that!

Vix: maybe i'll see you there! Did you see how jordan and peter got on? What puts me off most is that i cant even run a mile non stop, let alone 26 ha.

Anyone know how to get an iron mark out of a carpet??????????

    - are you settled into your flat yet? It sounds lovely, and you sound so happy there.

Well, the BF and I were up at my house doing the last jobs there. BF had a bonfire in the garden, in the rain, which apparently made the mad old woman over the back so furious that she wasn't content tapping on her bedroom window, pointing at him & the bonfire annimatedly, she then got a set of steps and stood on those to peer over the top of a 7ft fence to shout at him. He ignored her completely, which seemed to infuriate her even more! She's as mad as a box of frogs, but really bolschy with it. My BF had to keep coming in to tell me what was going on and laugh, she just kept shouting 'are you deaf?' and tutting really loudly. I wouldn't mind, but he was at least 70ft from her back garden, and kept the fire small and contained down near to our house. We'd spoken to our immediate next door neighbour yesterday to say we were having the fire, and they were fine about it, and as it was raining, no one had any washing out. Some people! No wonder I am glad to be moving away, it's been a lot like that for 3yrs now. It makes you wonder why they're like it though. In the time I've been there I've transformed the garden & house, spent £000's on it, and the previous tennants were a nightmare, so I can't understand them being so nasty to me, as I just keep myself to myself, nose down, etc. Hey ho, nearly over now.

Today I lifted the wood flooring in my lounge/diner & the underlay for it, then we moved the smaller playhouse shed down to the BF's (with the help of the coalman) and built that this evening. We've certainly been busy all day, so it's all calorie burning stuff.

    Food today:
    B - porridge
L - slice of bacon, 4 slices of nimble bread
snack - 2 Nairns oat biscuits
D - 3 egg omlette with slice of bacon & cheese + peas & carrots

I feel tempted to snack, but am going to have a shower instead! Argh, the dreaded blob-time munchies.

Polka - hormones make you tearful, and you're possibly preoccupied waiting for Wednesday too, so bound to feel a bit teary.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Actually it's great. I was a champion crier - I could have been in the Olympic crying competition - and now almost never do.
