Evening guys,
Raph - that MP3 looks so cool. My BF got me some Shure sound isolating headphones for my birthday last year, and they are just amazing. I use them with my MP3, phone and on my laptop, and are just fab. I agree about the armbands, I have one for my phone, which doubles up as my MP3 sometimes, and it just rubbed like hell, especially when I was on the rower.
Food ended on track, with chicken salad for tea. I feel that will have levelled out the bad choices earlier.
I have my sisters visiting tomorrow lunchtime, so will be organising something reasonably healthy for when they are here. I may bake a cake in the morning as a treat for them, as my cakes are rather renowned in my family, so a nice light sponge would be nice for them, and the children will be delighted when they get home. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Thanks Raph I think I'll give them a go as have an argos voucher to use. I had been looking at some much more expensive round the neck ones but I think I'll try these first and then hopefully my amazon voucher can be put to better use buying a book!0

I hadn't...but I will make a note for the new chartthat brings your total to 93 lbs loss right?
Thanks I know you may consider me to be a pain but thanks and yes:D
Anyone watching british biggest looser? Loved the USA version and the two girl trainers but can't get into this one with Kate whatever her name is as the presenter and the loosers always crying all the time, so many tears of regret:rolleyes:
My OH used to laugh at the NZ version where the trainer stands always with her feet wide apart when she is talking:rotfl::rotfl:
I am selling my Wii, need the money, the kids are not devastated I am, got a reserve on it on ebay and people email me with the most ridiculous prices, I am not going to give it away:eek: I don't want to but we had loads of costs last month and something has to go:rolleyes:0 -
Oh god, I woke up this morning to a lovely answerphone message from the Doctor's asking me to phone up. Ok. So it was about my results but they won't tell me what It is? And I have to make an appointment to see a certain doctor, so that isn't until next Friday, so I'll be worrying myself stupid until then that I have AIDS or Swine flu or w/e. Surely it's not unreasonable of me to expect them to TELL ME TODAY.
I knew I was broken.0 -
BM - I think you need to phone the Dr's up and tell them you are very very worried - I don't think having to wait another week is reasonable really.
Victory - can't remember if I said it before or only thought it, but you referred to it being childish to need to go back on the chart last week: I don't think it is childish at all - all credit to you for giving it a try, feeling a bit flakey about it, but making yourself wait til the end of the month before deciding you needed to go back on it: I think that is far removed from childish, trying something new and not reverting the second you feel anxious or whatever. If being on the chart helps, then that's more than ok isn't it.
Very sorry you are having to give up the wii, but well done for knowing you have to make ends meet. I know you will always go without to make sure your kids are clothes/fed/happy. Things are tight for us too.
kpc - good luck with your sw restart on Tues:j. As for the weekend: the arts festival starts in B tomorrow:j so will be visiting open houses galore. OH working all weekend. If weather is decent on monday, I may pop over and have a walk where he works and join him for lunch.
Raph - I am fairly certain that 2 level tsps of sugar is 2 points.
Vixstar - belated congrats on the size 12 trousers!!:DI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
(((((Big Hugs)))) Buttonmoon, it truly sux when that happens. But sometimes it can be something that's totally unexpected. I got a letter through asking me to make an appointment after a brain scan, they thought i was having ministrokes, and it turned out I had pernicious anaemia that was showing in my blood, which was a much better result than I was expecting, so try not to get yourself too worked up. I would try and see a doctor before then though, otherwise your gonna drive yourself mad.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

Well the doctor phoned me and It's nothing to worry about, SHE SAYS! It's either a slight infection which could of been my conjunctivitus or a boil, cut etc OR I'm pregnant. My mum is bringing me down a pregnancy test, I won't be able to relax until It's done. I really hope It's negative, 1 child is more than enough for me!0

I'm not pregnant, thankfully! So that leaves a mild infection of some sort, could of been the conjunctivitus I had at the time raising my white blood cells. Phew!
I've had a small bag of butterkist popcorn all day, I really should go have some lunch. Have a great day folks0
