    Are you buying things on-line, £1 is often taken as a test transaction but never debited to you account. I suppose if you use it regularly enough you could potentially stay in this position. Otherwise, it would appear to be an anomoly in their systems.

    Sounds like a pre auth to me.

    We can add M&S, bargain booze and boots to the list of retailers the card works fine at as well

    Have been reading this thread with interest as i have a natwest Solo card valid till nov 2011. I will be gutted if cant use paypal as addicted to buying second hand books (and other tat) from various sites and these generelly cost a pound or so a £1.25 charge each time may bankrupt me!!:o

    I will continue to lurk and read with interest, am too scared to report card in case nt replaced in time as on hols soon (am also secretly quite attached too my old solo card)! May get brave and report in Nov.

    Worked fine for me on foxy zero bingo site yesterday. Also worked on national lottery online

    Just tried to use mine on CoolShop, the very reason I requested my Visa early.. it doesn't work.

    Who do I contact? The company or Natwest?

    didn't realise i'd automatically be enrolled in verified by visa either..

    Just received my Visa Debit from Natwest and used it to pay my virgin media bill online went through fine :)
