Card worked fine in PC world too. They had to ring for authorisation but that was simply because (and behold the irony) their computers weren't working

Both my servicecards are purple, think it may just look blue in the picture :)
I've changed the picture of the back of card, thanks to whoever pointed that out.
Also one of my cards expired at the end of this month so thats the reason I recieved a new one, the other one I phoned up to change from Maestro to Visa

Oh thats very odd i havent noticed as yet.

Its strange how its at mightnight though as the systems dont update until 02.30am

Well i'm not familiar with the exact timings of the thing, i'm rarely up at 2am. But on that note I can see my debits and credits for the next day from around 10pm, if i click on view full statement, they are always at the bottom highlighed in blue with tomorrows date on it.

Do RBS allow you to spend monday's credits on Saturday ? Ulsterbank will let you take money out on the weekend thats due to be in your account on Monday.

Natwest and I think RBS will allow you to draw on monday's credits on Saturday. The reverse is true any debits due to go out on a monday will be gone on Saturday.

Internet banking for natwest updates at about 20 past 2. I wake up several times in night normally (though the medication I'm currently taking seems to limit that now) and thats normally one time I wake up so I can check the bank

LOL but mate had you went overdrawn surely you'd have a quiet word with the bank manager and get the charges wiped

Luckily It didnt take me overdrawn but if it had of done there would have been hell to pay. Plus I would have had more than a quiet word with my bank manager to get my charges refunded :D

Why do Paypal charge £1.25 for payments using the NEW Natwest Visa Debit Cards when they are made in sterling?

I don't think paypal charge it is natwest because they are looking at it as a cash advance.

Same thing happened to me with my RBS Visa card. I queried it with RBS though and they later refunded me.

Since i've had my Visa Debit card my Step Account available balance has been showing £1 less than the overall balance. I've had a Step Account for 18 months and this has only started to happen this week. There are no pending payments due, my account is currently showing 47.50 balance and 46.50 available balance - up to this week they were always the same. Could this be related to my new card in any way?
