Can I have a Visa Debit with NatWest??

I idly thought last week that I might "lose" my Natwest solo card as I'd rather have a Visa -What happens this week ? I actually lose the blinking thing-right before payday too <sigh>

Hoping there isn't a backlog with high demand for cards as people request new ones.

Ulster Bank Card arrived Yesterday (visa debit,.... as solo replacement), No probs so far with being not excepted anywhere. I have noticed that it is a LOT faster at processing transaction than the solo even tho they are both full auth, As soon as ive hit enter after pin the receipt comes out, The solo always took 10-15 seconds, dunno why, the visa system must just be better than the old switch one

P.s, think i`ll stick around... I like this MSE

just been onto rbs online banking and it caught my eye as there was info on the change, however there appears to be only one visa debit card with rbs unlike natwest purple and blue ones rbs just has blue? and a new cashmachine card only called plus card, i will be complaining bitterley if i am downgraded to just a cash macchine card from my solo!!!

Recieved my all singing all dancing blue (full auth) Visa Debit card this morning.

I just updated my Orange Mobile Account with it and on my account on their site it shows up as 'DELTA'.

Cool we careful with orange though. I paid £20.00 towards my phone bill via the orange website and they did a pre auth of the amount 5 times the gits. They finally dropped off my account this morning. :mad:

LOL but mate had you went overdrawn surely you'd have a quiet word with the bank manager and get the charges wiped :whistle:

That does sound consistant with some of the times it has happened though I'm pretty sure it has happened after a day or two also and I think on some rare occasions the transaction never went off my available balance

Tesco have now taken the full value of shopping for home delivery later today off my visa debit card so can confirm contrary to other reports, it does work fine on tesco online

Actually, I used it last night......... but only because its stored on a site that I use and I couldnt be bothered updating it. I might keep it tho, Ive heard I can get cheaper flights with it?
