Oh thats pants youll just have to accidently damage your card on the 13 sept to get a replacement.
If this thread is updated to say that is the case then that may well happen
If more retailers are going to drop Maestro before my expire date I don't want to be stuck with it. I've wanted a Visa for SO long!
And I need a more catchy card number this one is rubbish0 -

They will be visa debit electronic (NOT ELECTRON) which are currently issued by barclays and lloydstsb.
I spoke to someone on Actionline I think it is called about the replacement for the SOLO card on the First Reserve Account.
She seemed to think the new card would be Visa Electron.
Has anyone seen one on the intranet and can confirm they are as Barclays / LTSB Electonic Visa Debit Cards. The lady did seem to accept the issue is slightly complicated and because they issue Electron as gift cards and staff point cards (I think that is what they are called) i.e. flat cards not embossed they might be issuing Electron, or is it another Electronic Visa Debit Card and people not understanding the difference.0 -

There visa electronic cards like barclays and lloydstsb.
Telephone banking dont seem to be grasping the difference between visa electron and visa electronic cards.

OMG that is so funny :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!
I too am looking forward to the rollout of Visa Debit. I have got full Maestro on an AdGold account and 2 solo cards on other accounts with Natwest. I don't know how long I am going to hang on before I can no longer resist the temptation to say that my cards have been lost (full Maestro expires 08/10. Methinks a 'Challenge' coming on!

PigletWell my previous card it got to the point where I no longer needed to get it out for online or telephone transactions as I knew all of the card details off the top of my head.
Unfortunately it appears someone else did and I was forced to get a new one
Would be nice if these cards look a bit more interesting. A dinosaur printed on the front or something, everyone likes dinosaurs.0 -
