    Hey CWC

I haven't seen you in ages - you're doing really well. £50+ from Quidco is great!

    Keep it up!

Hi Urg!! I know, long time no chat!! Hope you are fine, I'll have to come and catch up on your diary, I've been a busy bee recently! I know I was really pleased with that from Quidco, it was £45 from car insurance and a few mobile phones, and internet shops etc, so I'm real pleased!

    Talk to you soon!

Not much going on with me really - I really need to be more motivated. My current excuse is that it is too hot!

    Catch up soon.

Just popped on to update my diary after the weekend! I actually overspent by heaps this weekend, but have redeemed myself ;) by juggling money around and managed to pay off my credit card IN FULL today!!

The next vouchers have also arrived, so they can go straight to the next account... think I will just send them all (£100) to Next against my account and then buy myself something from my directory. Either way, I'll pay off the account in full too.

Off to update my signature now... now I have those two mini targets cleared I can start to tackle the big bad debts - scarey and exciting!! :j

Well done cwc, that's brilliant news. So it's a big debt target next is it?

Hi Everyone - thanks for your comments, its a great feeling actually paying something off in full!!

The Northern Rock Loan is somewhere between £2500 and £3000 so its a big one!! I am going to phone them tomorrow and get the exact balance so that I know where I am, then that way I know where I stand from the start. I have their details all set up in my internet banking so I can start paying extra as and when.

Now that the Next Account and the credit card are gone, I will have more spare money to use towards the bigger debts... thats the plan anyway!!
  • Well done you!

    Thank you positive and focused!!

I've just called eversheds to check the balance of the Northern Rock Loan and they have a difference balance to what I have! I have it down as being £2644.62 and they are saying it is £2919.63. So I have a letter at home (at work just now) with a statement from Northern Rock confirming the balance which I will need to take in to work and fax to Eversheds to prove that the balance I have is correct.

I will put it in my signature as the higher ammount so that if they do agree that I am right, then its a bonus. My plan is to get it down a bit in the next few months with additional payments and then offer a full and final settlement when I claim back my student tuition fees which are just under £1000. Will see what the balance is nearer the time and then take it from there.

Off to update my signature, and will post back on here if there are any developments in getting Eversheds to confirm my balance is correct!

Ouch that's not good, is that due to extra fees by evershed?
    Hope you get it sorted.
