My journey towards Debt Freedom!!

Hi Yukkibear, yeah it would be fab if I could get rid of at least one big creditor in the near future! I have paid £30 off the credit card today, it was a cheque for £29.55 but I have rounded up to keep it nice and neat! :rotfl:
I will pay off more this month and hopefully blitz it, but I don't want to leave myself short before we've done our food shops etc! We also managed to sell our Wii so the girl who has bought it is collecting it this weekend. Because my OH bought it, its obviously his money, but he said he would give me a commission so whatever that is, will just go to the card too.
Have made my first direct payments to my creditors today, which I have to say felt gooooooood!! Can't wait to be rid of this credit card and then I'll really get to grips with chucking every spare penny to the debts!0 -
The credit card wont take you long, it's below 200 now so very manageable. Are you still ebaying?0

Hi Yukkibear, I've just sold three items on ebay this afternoon, I think those were my last three active listings so will have to get back on the case! I have a report to finish for uni so once I get that done I'll get back on top of my ebaying.
Will see how much money I have leftover once I do my monthly non-food shop tomorrow and chuck that at the card too.0 -
Heya
Hope you managed to get everything done yesterday

Hello all! Thanks for popping by... I've not been on for a few days, been so busy at work and been snowed under at home with washing, ironing all that good stuff!
Unfortunately I don't have any updates to my totalsI have £59.67 coming from Quidco in the next day or so, which will go straight to the credit card, plus I have budgeted £80 for this weekend for a festival type thing that we're going to in my hometown this weekend, which is waaaaay more than we will need - the logic behind that is the surplus will also go to the card.
My ebaying has slowed right down, I don't have any listings just now, because I have uni work starting to pick up again, so once I get that done I will be able to get stuck back into the ebaying!
Off to catch up on some other diaries before I go to bed, got carried away at work tonight and ended up staying til after 8pm to catch up!0 -

Just a quick update for today! Got my quidco, so have transferred that to my credit card - it was £59.67 so I rounded up to £60. Going to go and update my signature in a minute.
I got a cheque in the post today for CD's I'd sent to Music Magpie a while back so will pay that into the bank today, its for £8.09 so I will take that off the credit card too when it clears. They have added £3.13 interest on to the credit card so I will round that back down to a nice round number once I pay the cheque in too.
Off to check my paypal to see if I have anything worth transferring from it to chuck at the card too.
Enjoying this fantastic weather - its great!0 -
Hey CWC
I haven't seen you in ages - you're doing really well. £50+ from Quidco is great!
Keep it up!
