    Morning everyone,

How is everyone this morning? Well i am off for another day at work, then got a whole load of ebay listing to do when i get home, hopefully raise some spending money for our holiday - when we eventually decide where to go!! We have decided to go in 5 weeks time and have both booked the time off work, so hopefully will get something booked this weekend.

Those river island jeans that i found with the tags still on that a shamefully paid £45 for, sold on ebay for £22 so thats quite good. I know for a fact that i have a whole box full of similar things behind our wardrobe, so going to have to persuade OH to get that out for me when we both get back from work.

Whats everyone got planned for this weekend?

    Morning Flower

Well, I've been very naughty and not money wise at all today - I was supposed to go to work to do some overtime but when the alarm woke me at 5.45 I felt shocking, really tired and wheezy with my asthma. I know if I'd got up and shook me lumgs down I'd have improved but I just couldn't motivate myself so went back to sleep. So, the day will now be walking the 3 dogs (1 hates walking so it's a challenge!), braving ASDA for shopping (if I hear someone shouting Pilchard, I'll know it's Happytobedebtfree and not someone just desperate for some fish :rotfl:), then LOADS of ironing plus I'm going to try and hit the survey sites and find something to review on dooyoo. I will also hear from my OH at some point, who is on a messy stag do in Newcastle. Last night was the sensible night but he staill managed to call at 1am drunk as a skunk telling me he loved me! he probably loved everyone by then, though!!!!!

Anyway, have a good weekend xx
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:

Morning all. Sig updated, nearly at 5% of the house total. £2k in savings seems like a lot, but 5% seems pathetic! Still, should go up at nearly 5% per month hopefully. NIM is off on his magical mystery tour. 13/14 MS jobs to do today, depending on what time he gets to the third town as a well paid job there but it has to be done before 3pm. Me I'm tidying and writing the letter to thomas cook and working through the 'to do' pile.

Well done on the ebay sale Flower, that's a good amount back for the jeans.

    Feeling any better now Pilchard?

How are you today as well Birdie?

Hello all! I'm feeling better today thanks for asking Dinah! Me likey the pills I'm on, they're fixing me nicely!

Had a lovely meal out with my fellow WAG last last night, but the bottle of wine meant I was a bit worse for wear this morning, not as bad as OH though who staggered in from his Rugby club players' dinner at 3am and woke me up for a kiss and to tell me he loved me! Needless to say we're having a quiet day! Just checked my bank account and my pay went in eventually meaning I can afford to buy food so I'll have to venture out for that in a bit, think I'll have to leave OH at home as he's looking a bit green!

Hi everyone, Dinah if I remember rightly you we're only at about 5% of your deposit before you paid off your debt - is that right? So you've built it back up again in no time, well done! Poor old NIM out mystery shopping all day, I think having to do that many would stress me to death!

Glad you're feeling better now Birdie, sounds like you need to look after OH today anyway so it's a good job!

Just got back from a lovely cuppa with my cousin and her very nice boyfriend who I've been vetting :D, just waiting for OH to make the long trip up from Northampton then up to Durham for an Italian tonight. I'm quite hungry as it is, was going to fast for the meal but think I might have to eat something small or I might keel over. Newcastle tomorrow, I'll look out for some hungover looking men and it might be Pilchard's OH!

Have a good weekend everyone x

We got it up to about 12% so we're not doing badly at getting it back up, the next month is going to be rough though, as NIM gets paid about £210 next week and the week after, hopefully a similar amount the week after that, but then nothing for another 4 weeks 2 days... and from that we need to get a full months rent and the £100 we're still missing from this months, which will leave exactly £50 in his account to cover all his petrol and any spends for nearly 6 weeks! That's just not possible since he's going to need at least £120 petrol. He's thinking of cashing out his Irish premium bonds as there is £100 or so in there, would really help us if he did.

Have a nice day out Tete, sounds lovely!
