Hello, hope everyone's had a good weekend! Congrats on the challenges NIM and hope you're feeling better now Dinah! Yikes! Cinny you are a legend, all that baking in one day, you put me to shame.

Had a social whirl of a weekend this weekend which is unusual as I live near hardly any friends, was lovely to see people I hadn't seen in a while, but back to walking up hills next weekend - it's much cheaper!

Da Vinci Code is starting so I'll see if I can stay awake for it as haven't seen it yet. Night night all!

Had a fab weekend in the south west lots of champagne and celebrating. I was a bit naughty and bought 2 dresses - thankfully from TKMaxx. £31, but they are both VERY nice and glam for once.

My paypal account is on 'temporary hold' - beasts! Wonder why? Sleep well x

Morning everyone! Happy happy Monday! (This is the caffeine talking, I'll be depressed in a minute)

After realising it's still 2 weeks to payday I checked my account through my fingers as Cinny advises and it's actually not as bad as I thought which is a total first! Must not let this compel me to go out and buy things though!!

Work seems pretty quiet today (touch wood) so I'm going to try and draw up a spending money budget for Paris ...

Looking at your bank balance through your fingers is the only way after a spendy weekend! That and squinting enough to blur the numbers then slowly working up the guts to open them.

I've started keeping my eye out for pretty holiday dresses! I figure them teamed with t-bar shoesies will be comfy but smart enough for NT houses and meals out. Feeling all happy, summery and fabbity fab I'm worried, packed up with lots of fruit and goodness food to detox myself after a weekend of junk food.

Chevalier, Ooh New Zealand! Tell me if I'm wrong but didn't you move there about a year ago? I think I remember your thread but knowing me I'd of made it up!

Morning all. NIM is off on another day of impossible MS, don't think it's humanly possible for him to do all today's shops today, luckily a few of them can be rescheduled if needs be. One of them is a financial advice thingy, I think he's hoping to come home and be able to teach me a thing or two!

Team meeting today to devise a plan of action to try to save our jobs in the restructure - I'm more than a bit edgy this week.

My car needs to go over to the garage tonight I think it is so I'll be without all week, all our fingers crossed it won't cost too much....

Morning! I've just had a lovely slice of chocolate cake...mmmm, still liking the icing off my lips! We've got 4 birthday cakes to eat at work this week so my trousers will be feeling very tight by Friday! It's my birthday on Friday so I have to find a cake that's so nice people will want it even though they'll be sick of the sight of cake by then!
Hope your meeting goes well today Dinah, and NIM manages to do all of his MS! I did one on Saturday and the girl from Gap rang me for the results rather than letting me do it online, it was a nightmare, she had an Indian accent and the line was really bad so I had to keep repeating everything I said and asking her to repeat herself whilst OH was laughing at me!

I'm worried I've run out of work already, just pottering about waiting for dinner now. I've got a little I've stashed to one side for this afternoon when everyone starts filtering back in so I don't look like a complete waste of money. Will spend my free time usefully, look into MS and enter some comps!

I've got the tiniest pile of work myself Cinny, I'm dragging it out as much as I can but it'll run out very soon!
I might bake a cake, but I make such a mess and it takes me so long that it'll take me all night to make said cake so it depends on what I'm doing on Thursday! I might cheat and check out the local bakers and see what their cakes are like, they're still home made!
I haven't got any mad plans for my birthday, my parents are taking us and my brother and SIL for dinner at The Restaurant in Harrogate, OH and I like it a lot there but agreed that we can only go when someone else is paying from now on! LOL! I never make a big deal about my birthday really, I was kind of hoping that OH would use some initiative and organise something but apparently not! Maybe next year for my 25th, especially as I'm planning on throwing him a Cowboys and Indians party for his birthday!
