Thank you everyone for your opinions!!
Was talking to OH about it and he was definatly keen on the idea. But i have made it clear that it wouldnt be long term.
Think we need to talk to his parents - see how much rent they would want, make sure they really are sure etc etc...
Weigh up the pros and cons, but definatly can see alot of pros at the moment!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I have been in the garden most of the day and really should be planning my lessons for tomorrow and doing a bit more marking but instead I am doing everything else but. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Does anyone know what the weather is going to be like after thursday as I would love to put my pool up but I dont want to do it if the weather is going to change.Total debt Feb 2012 = £54354.11 😳

The goat was funny! You could tell it was by the guy who made Evil Dead when it started talking though, kept on picturing that moose!
Sudbury Hall was beautiful, I saw the ACTUAL chair that COLIN FIRTH ACTUALLY SAT ON with his actual bottom. OH had to prop me up in a corner while I caught my breath, he bought me a twister ice lolly too and we had a picnic on the grounds complete with cupcakes. Was lovely! Went to the cinema on the way home and saw Fermats Room, which was pretty darn good to say I didn't have a real clue what was going on. Did remind me I have free tickets to go see Gigantic tomorrow though!
Flower - Moving in with your OH parents sounds like a great idea, really nice of them to offer and it does sound ideal! Sounds like you've got at least a month to mull over it though, with your holiday and what not!
Wendz your day at the farm sounds lovely! Must of been fantastic in this weather too, me and OH sound try and get in a few weekends camping this year. Most likely without the fun of go-karting and what not!
Can't believe it's so late already! Only feels about 6.0 -
Sounds like you had a nice day! Colin firth went to my college... theres my claim to fame haha, a fair few years before me though.
Time seems to be rushing by this evening. Have done two dooyoo reviews today so am happy with that, so just relaxing now!0 -
Hello! Sounds like everyone had a lovely weekend in the sun; do we have lots of pink noses this morning?!
We went to a BBQ on Saturday and had a few too many drinks but it was good fun!
How exciting that you saw the chair that was blessed by Colin Firth's bottom Cinny!
Flower, I think moving in with OH's parents for a while is a good idea, it'll give you time to find a job and get settled before having to worry about rent and bills and you can get some money saved up. I'd just recommend getting some house rules in place so you're not driving each other mad!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Morning all. Found another £77 I had forgotten to count, so we're actually through the 3k mark now. Want to get to 10% this month. Okay, I'm lieing, I want to get to 13% but thats a fairly lofty target! I know we'll get to 8.76% even if no more money comes in all month just from the regular saver payments. With the money I know is coming through from NIMs prize bonds, and the start of the rent payments into savings to cover the euros we're giving to mum and dad, if we hit the £10 a day target we'd get to 11.8%, so just over halfway between the normal target and what I for some reason want to hit! Doesn't look like we can sell NIMs laptop as his main one has knackered, AGAIN! So only mine to get around to listing. NIM doesn't have the farm this weekend, so plenty of time for him to do some more reading of the matched betting, and for us to list a few items on ebay.
Lovely day out at Newby Hall yesterday, but cost so much. £90 for entrance, lunch and some spends at the craft fair. NIM bought me a lovely ring though (no not that kind!), sort of a v shape at the front with bluey-black stone inlays, very pretty and delicate. And we found a new chain for his cross, £10 which is good as the one we had previously found was £89!!!! However this now leaves him with exactly -£3 to last till the 30th and he has to get petrol and various work days out out of that!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Sounds like a good day even if it was expensive! You deserved to treat yourself, especially when you are doing so well with deposit.
-£3 could be hard to live on for a month eek!0 -
How exciting that you saw the chair that was blessed by Colin Firth's bottom Cinny!
I did consider jumping over the barrier and sitting on it myself but didn't fancy getting clouted around the head with a National Trust guide.
Dinah - I think there might me a silver lining to you having all these accounts! Always nice to find forgotten money. You could set your target for 10% then when you (no doubt) smash through it raise it up to 13% maybe?
Crikey to NIMs pennys for the rest of the month! Wish I could give some helpful advice of things to do but 1. I don't have a clue and 2. I'm sure you'll find a way.
Scary thoughts yesterday, seeing how much needs to be saved and what not. Need to get goals set for Disney Land and Florida, plus savings for the money I owe my parents (Could I actually class that as being in debt?!) Anyways, That's already saved but I need to group everything up. That's my jobby for a quite minute at work this afternoon. I think my sig is going to grow. Alot.
Taking my GlobalTestMarket Cheque to the bank tonight, should be cleared by Friday so a neat little boost to my savings even though I don't think I'll be moving much over this week. Have a day out at Matlock Bath and Bakewell on Friday with OH and I want to spoil him a bit as he's been constantly spoiling me this weekend. I can tell things are bad when it's only Monday and I'm planning the weekend!!Best get to work, small work piles seem to be forming around me.

NIM just might have to go a bit overdrawn, apart from the day out yesterday the rest of his spends this month are on trips out with people from work. I'll give him some money next month towards my part of the day out this month, but even after I give him £30 or so, he's going to have to learn to budget for the rest of the month from his spends.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
