Its been busy on here today!

Just got back from work and still feeling ultra positive as boss said he is going to try and get me some extra hours again. He knows i dont intend to stay there long now i have finished uni, but it will probably still be at least 3 or 4 months so good to know i will be able to get some extra hours.

Havent had chance to sort out our budget yet so havent made an extra CC payments yet. I know i have £25 coming in from ebay sales that should be in my account by Monday, so as soon as that goes in can pay that straight off the Natwest CC.

Wont be online much this weekend as OHs family are staying and its always a bit manic having so many people in the house! Will be making sure we spend the minimum amount of money though dont worry!!

Oh Wendz congrats on the new arrival, bet you cant wait to visit them! One of OHs friends from back home had a baby about 4 weeks ago and we still havent been able to visit, but we're hoping to see them once we get back off holiday, cant wait!

Just quickly logging on at OHs house, I just want to say. YOU COULD OF WARNED ME TETE!! I've got a untouched bag of popcorn infront of me as I was too scared to eat it in the cinema. It was quite funny actually, but I won't be sleeping tonight.

Thank you for the link Poddle, looked at the single cupcake holders and they work out at 53p each from the sample pack. Everything's so pretty!
Have to say thank you thank you to Dinah for the kick and the idea for it, been researching it a little bit this afternoon and it's looking promising. Going to the library tomorrow to get a few books about setting up a business, just one with a few starting up ideas.

Will catch up properly tomorrow night, my noggin is a bit too frazzled and keep getting distracted by the Brady Bunch singing on BGT. Have fun with your painting tomorrow Dinah, would be lovely to paint outside if it's sunny. Just don't get all Johnny from the fast show on us!

Yay Cinny that's great news. I think you could have such a cool business.

:rotfl: about Drag me to Hell. OH and I have been debating whether to go or not - definitely have to after your review! Think we (I mean I) may have to go to the matinee show.

I'm really pleased for you Cinny on this new business idea, I think it could be something you'd really enjoy, and it has the potential to take off in a big way once you build up a client base, you only have to look at the prices these companies charge for selling cupcakes online. I saw one a few years ago that was about £79 for a box with 'Happy Birthday' iced on one letter per cake!

Oh sorry, I didn't think it was that scary it was too comical, esp the fight in the car park (hope that doesn't give too much away for other people) - I did enjoy it though, it was jumpy and watch-through-your-fingers-y.

Sounds like you're getting into the idea of the cupcake business. I hereby volunteer to be a tester if you need to send free samples out, just to check they're ok :D Dinah that's a shocker for the box of cakes!! If someone was going to spend £80 on my birthday there's a million things I'd rather have!

I'm just sitting about on the bed - OH has a chest infection and has taken some medecine that knocked him for six so he's having a doze. Hoping to make a Victoria Sponge later. Went and got my sandals (grey) but resisted a dress I've coveted for a while that had been reduced to 'only' £35. :T

Well done on having such will power Tete. I still want to see DMTH, but I'm terrible with scary films.... might have to look for an aftenoon showing as well!

Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend.

Worked out how to get onto my Barclays banking and I was actually underselling our total by £518! So we're storming through the 7% mark now!

NIM is in BIG trouble, he's been taking cash out at cash machines that charge! We worked out a budget with a generous spends allowance, but that doesn't mean I'm happy for him to waste it getting stupid fees!
