I'd say you could Pilchard yes.

No, I'm still behind on NUMs paintings. Have one drawn up but I think I still owe him a further 2, and obviously that one isn't painted. I'd like to get the drawings for the other two done tomorrow, then that leaves me with 4 canvases to actually paint up.

I have no idea about the MS Pilchard!
Things have gone a bit mad in the office now, my boss and I have just been playing with a golf ball trying to putt it in a plastic cup using a rolled up magazine which is not a very accurate club! I think we've got cabin fever!

I love the idea of selling cupcakes Cinny - I found this website the other day www.littlecupcakeboxes.co.uk and they do a sample packs of different boxes and bags etc...

I have shamefully just got back from my third pub lunch in a week, but in my defence my lovely friends (and Dad) have all treated me! Like today I went out with a uni friend (who is doing a reenactment near me this weekend - don't ask!) and I bought drinks and he paid for the food. I did protest (a little halfheartedly if I'm honest) but he wasn't having any of it.

This doesn't excuse the fact that I've accumulated 6 pub hours this week and no gym hours. Well done on the treadmilling, Pilchard! You're one dedicated lady!

I get to see her tomorrow hopefully if we can. His sister has to stay in hospital 3 days as she had a caserean. Getting OH to ring his mum and see if we can visit.

I am going to a bbq at my friends tomorrow in sussex. She lives on a sort of farm and so it will be a bbq and playing rounders and stuff which I am sure the oh will be very happy about. We are camping there too

Everyone goes a bit mad in the sun in offices, only just over an hour left for me yay

Thanks for that - it means I can do more jobs so that's good.

I've been really slack on cutting back and trying to sort my finances out and didn't realise how down I was about it all until recently. I just felt like I was drowning a bit in it all. Now I see a ray of light I want to get my backside into gear and smash the Capital One card and reduce my outgoings. The car loan is 0% and finishes in January, which will free up £183/month and the Capital One card has been £135/month although that was paying more than the minimum but the money I used to pay Barclaycard has been put onto the Capital One repayment so that will be £195/month paid off. Next year we want to move and as we're in our 40's (well OH will be 50 next year ) we'll have to have a mortgage over a shorter time. I know I'll have equity in the house but we'll still have to borrow a fair bit so I want to be at the stage where apart from bills and stuff that's the only thing going out each month.

Anyway, that's enough self pity and whinging for one day but please feel free to kick my bum if that Capital One total doesn't go down much!!!!!

Glad to see you have a sig now Pilchard, your debts don't look too bad. My vote for the challenge is the £10 a day challenge, if you meet that thats just over half the capital one balance paid just from that by the end of the year.

Thanks Poddle but all this treadmilling isn't working - I still look like Ten Ton Tess!!!! At least I'm not paying out for a gym and not using it, which is what I have done loads of times in the past!

Thanks Dinah. I have others to put on the sig but my priority is the Capital One card cos the interest free period has just finished. I would go for another 0% interest card but I end up using it and then instead of having 1 card I end up with 2 or 3 used to the max. I'm finally down to the Barclaycard, which has nothing on it and that Cap 1 card. I might wait til my next Barclaycard statement comes in to check that I don't owe a small amount of interest and then try the 'I want to close my card......ok, can I have 0% interest on a balance transfer' scenario, although I know that doesn't always work. I'm also waiting for Northern Rock to sort the new credit agreement so I can work out how much I owe on that. As for the £10 a day, I think I'll give it a go for June. I tried it once before and failed but I'll have several boots up my bum if I slack this time (I hope!). :T
