Good Morning and HAPPY PAYDAY!!!
Finally money again!0 -
Apparently according to government reports, 35,000 cars have been ordered number the new car scrapage scheme. Hopefully this helps the car industry as OH is not directly affected by car industry but some of her employers work comes from them0

Morning all, what a gorgeous day AND it's the weekend!!
Got a little bit of finance to do this morning (work stuff, not my own. Unfortunately as it's nice big sums!) then might content myself for the afternoon doing a bit of data entry and researching Paris and having a think about what to pack
Good news for your OH Poolie, I'm hearing a lot of reports that we're on our way out of the recession now, but it all seems to have passed very quickly... I don't know, I don't think I really understand it all!!
Glad you're OK Flower! I know sometimes the written word can be taken the wrong way and I was worried.
Yey to the 6% Dinah - is that the highest it's been? Or did it get to about 8% before?
Hmm, I don't know if it's the sun or what but I've got a spendy head on. Someone on Facebook just said they found a Margaret Atwood book in Poundland so I'm going to brave the hordes today and see if they've got any here... but the weather is making me want to buy pretty frocks also!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hey cool Dinah! I have just deposited my whopper paycheck (although not quite at the £1million mark I'm afraid) which takes me 1/3 of the way to uni fees. I even made a voluntary student loan payment to cover my interest - feeling positively saintly :rotfl:
Plus OD is halved from paying for P birthday present. Today I am going for my first ever viewing of a wedding venue. Am quite nervous. Hope it won't be too weird.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Hey get onto retail eyes you lot, in my area there's 246 jobs available! Shame I haven't done my MS yet and am still a probationer so can't snag ANY of them. Aargh!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0

Morning everyone!
Not much to report money wise, moved £50 into savings this morning. Be moving more into savings on Thursday, just have DD coming out this week so normally leave double what I actually need in my CA. Oooh, and I'm getting a new camera today. Lovely little Samsung S1075, perfect for just point and shoot snaps. Need to decide on either Cleethorpes or Sudbury Hall for Sunday. Decisions decisions.
I heard on the news this morning 1 in 5 people are going for the scrappage scheme or something?
Wahey to getting over 6% Dinah! It seems to be mounting up nicely.
Tete - That's the worst thing about nice weather, you suddenly decide you need several new dresses. I've started dreaming of finding new dresses at the back of my wardrobe now I've kind of made them out of boundsThere is a dorothy perkins dress I've had my eye on for months that's been reduced to £15 in town, so so tempted!
Lara - Good luck with viewing the venue! Hope it's lovely for you. Great news on all the moneyness front too, very saintly indeed!0
