    I'd forgotten about the MBing!

    I have my uses!

I was a bit shocked by mine, I know I don't earn mega bucks but seeing what I'd earnt compaired to what I had in savings ect and how much I 'need' to live on a week I felt like I'd wasted so much money!

Lol between the debt and rent only £4200 wages were spent, £3000 of this was on petrol and £400 on flights to Ireland.... I feel positively saintly (although the environment hates me I'm sure!). The remaining £800 doesn't even cover my car insurance and car tax let alone repairs and maintenance, so I feel happy knowing almost all of my living last year came out of extra income!

God, I can't even think how much of my wage gets wasted! I've just noticed that my salary is about the same as your debt Dinah! I need to find one of these £30k Pocket Money jobs!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

My nearly 30k pocket money job required a 6k masters don't forget! I'm sad actually, my best friend is a year behind me at uni as she swapped courses and dropped back a year, and she's a qualified planner too but she can't get a job for love nor money. Shes struggling to even find an admin job, guess I was just lucky about when I qualified.

You were Dinah, a lad who's just started in my office has some kind of architecture degree (tho can't be a qualified architect as he's only 24?), and a friend of mine who is a qualified architect with a Cambridge degree, has just been made redundant - it's a bad old sector to be in at the min - you and my OH are lucky you work for LAs really.

I read in my Grandpops news paper yesterday one football man is on 17K a day. I sat there thinking 'I earnt £27.70 today'

I suppose if I became a MP I could claim for just about everything.. so that'd be like pocket money.. hmm..

    Not anymore I don't think!!

I know it makes you sick doesn't it? Even when the managers are getting sacked for doing such a bad job they're still walking away with a six figure payoff.

I always think the same about boxers and the amount they earn - I'd let Ricky Hatton hit me for a million pounds, I'd just go straight down :D
