I think £35k will still be a stonking house deposit Dinah! Things may have changed by then and you won't need so much as a deposit anyway? Or you or NIM will get a cracking promotion and you'll be able to save more!
All this talk of money and salaries (and £20k being pocket money!) is making me feel like a real under-achiever! I dream of being on £20k!!!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
What about MB? Or have you decided to leave that?
Looking at savers now, I'd like a high interest one for the money I'll be getting from giving the company my PB. Will be stashed away then used when me and OH move in together (should just call it my ikea fund!) Will have to scoot around the banks in town on Saturday and get some leaflets. It's mad, we're classed as a 'small' town and we have 6 banks all on the market square. Still, plenty to pick from!
Birdie - I dream of 20k a year too. Reading my P60 when I was applying for credit cards, I earnt under 7k last yearCrikey!

I got my P60 this morning, completely baffled me. After about 10 mins I gave up and slid it suspiciously into my bottom drawer, and decided to just be thankful its not a P45!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
