I liked the one who said we're all just jealous because "I've got a very, very large house"!!

    :rotfl:
That was Anthony Steen wasn't it? I have to say, when the chips are down, Tories manage to come out with some fantastic quotes.

    That's the spirit!
I have to agree with Birdie though, people in your line of work deserve way more than what you get.

Oh bggr. I can't remember if I added this months regular saver payments onto my totals or not! Going to have to work out how to use Barclays online banking at the weekend and work out my total in house savings, as it might or might not be £500 more than my total says it is!

I wouldn't worry about your targets just yet Dinah - you've smashed through all the others and you've got more than 18 months and you never know what's round the corner - job opportunities, sudden influxes of cash, bidding wars on your ebay items, competition wins, birthday/xmas money, mysterious benefactors... Alright, that last one is a long shot, but you know what I mean. I think spending quality time with the lovely NIM is far more important in the short-term. I liked that quote about being able to make money again and again, but not time. Makes sense :o
