NIM and I have been together 11 months on Sunday.... it's about this point in a relationship I start poking about for little imperfections, then obsessing until they huge gaping holes of dispair in my head. I think my problem is just that I get bored easily, and while I'm very happy with him as a person there have been no huge changes for 5 months since he moved to England, and I start craving change and excitement again, hence why I was a bit dissapointed I wasn't made redundant. Need something new to interest me now please!

That sounds really bad but that's not what I mean. I've never been with someone who makes me happier, or who I fit anywhere near as well with, but I want to go and buy the house now or change my job so things feel like they're moving forward not standing still.

I know what you mean. Me and my OH broke up just over a year ago when i was in my last year of uni. It was a mixture of my stress of uni and also the fact that it had just been the same for 4 years.

We have had lots of changes since then , moving to London, moving intogether and me starting a new job and now he is starting a new job. The house thing is something I can get into as well. It does get boring I think when it is the same old thing all the time.

Not sure it bodes well that I get bored so easy! I used to fight constantly with my ex, so while I was miserable I didn't feel settled. Now I'm happy and settled and impatient for something new to tackle!

House deposit going up so slowly, I get very impatient! You have a deposit saved up wendz or you need to start saving?

We are very lucky that my parents are going to lend us the deposit if we dont do the keyworker scheme thing. They were originally going to buy a house which we would rent off them but then the mortgage interest rates were higher for a buy to rent property so they thought it would be better for us to get it ourselves and them to help us out.

Aye that is very lucky. I can't believe how hard it is to save for a deposit, the idea of doing this for 2 years just to own a few bricks seems like utter madness to be honest. That said NIM seems to think his parents might give us some of the profit from one of the new builds they are planning in a few years, I think I'm hoping far too much that he's right, I keep daydreaming about being mortgage free by 30!

That would be amazin, think we are accepting we will have a mortgage for a long time as well as paying parents back at same time. At least you will mortgage free much quicker if you save up.

Aye and I know we'll be buying a first house that will last us at least 5 years, quite possible 10, but I'm still in a right money sulk atm and just want it NOW!

What I also want now, food. I'm ravenous today for no reason. Time is going maddeningly slowly. I was planning on working late but I think if I try to do that I might kill someone.

I think Cleveland is stuck in a timewarp Tete.

I guess part of my maddness at wanting change is that I accidentally chose things to stay at this stage and that's still bugging me!

Right if time doesn't hurry up I'm going on a rampage...
