Aye but at least you know you've paid it Birdie, so no court could come after you or anything, so long as it is registered to a very similar address to your actual one. I had a similar thing at the last house. it used to be two flats, then became two houses, and they kept telling me Flat 2, Ferndale House hadn't paid and I kept going back to them and waving a piece of paper pointing out that 2 Ferndale House had, and what kind of flat has 3 storeys?!
Sorry your night wasn't up to expectations Tete. Yes NIM and I had a chat while he walked me down to the doctors (whole other story!) and we've decided he will turn down the weekend work so we have a better quality of life, but he's going to start up the matched betting which should more than make up for the shortfall, and we're just going to not put any money aside for holidays in June which means he won't get to go back to Ireland until August. He suggested this not me, but he seemed to understand why it was nessisary and didn't get worked up which I think was very level of him. When he moved here I promised he could go back every month. Since then Ryanair have pulled 3 out of the 4 routes we used, and the price has shot up, couple this with his lack of holiday time and its more like every 2/3 months. Poor NIM.
Felt so good having time with him last night though, and we both woke up cheerier as a result of it. Will be lovely to have that every evening as of next week.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ah good so it sounds as though you know where you are and what you're doing. It'll be disappointing for NIM not to get home but it'll all level out once he finally settles into work properly. And you can already see what an improved quality of life you'll have getting to see each other more.
Ah, I've made myself a spreadsheet with my budget projections (!) for the summer and feel a bit more in control now that it's all written down. June's going to be pretty tight but the fact is I'm looking at four holidays between June and December so of course it will be. Why can't I be headhunted from somewhere and my salary doubled??Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Yey, just got a £15 MS for Thursday morning before the flight, no purchase nessisary so that's about £13 of pure profit as we're in Stockton anyway so I can get my blood taken.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi ladies!
Glad you had a bit of heart to heart with NIM - I think it's probably a good thing that he's not going to be working every weekend. It is a shame that he won't be able to get home as often, but it sounds like he's being philosophical about it and you never know what's around the corner...
Exciting news about your delivery, CinnyI still haven't won a Galaxy book and I've been trying very hard! Boo.
Sorry to hear you're still having postcode issues, Birdie - even if you have proof it's just another hassle isn't it? We've had similar problems as we're in flat even though we've had a TV licence since we moved in - I've phoned them lots of times as we keep getting those menacing "we're coming to get you" letters and been told not to worry, but they keep sending them!
Apart from the free cake, wedding fairs aren't as good as I hoped - I just kept coming away with bags of flyers being less decisive than I was before! Actually you do get lots of ideas though.
Ooh yes, let's get back to talking about holidays!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Sounds extravagent doesn't it?! Well there's Paree in three weeks, I've saved half what I need for that and the rest will come from May's pay. Then we're hoping for somthing cheap and cheerful in July (hopefully won't need more than £500), I'm going to Bath for a long weekend with the girlies in October (£200), and then the Biggie - New York in December, which I don't know how I'm going to pay for as I think we'll need to book soon
Today's been quite a good day, just got a crown on Dooyoo so that's another £1.50 towards my Wainwright booksMight enter the Mars balls thing after all ...

Have you been doing the no purchase necessary route as well as gobbling chocolate? I do that twice a day from my personal and work email addresses, though my frst win was from a wrapper.Apart from the free cake, wedding fairs aren't as good as I hoped - I just kept coming away with bags of flyers being less decisive than I was before! I'm still secretly hoping for New York in December, but planning on doing it last minute, lastminute.com tend to do 4* 5 days from Manchester for a little under £500 each which would suit us just fine!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

We've only won by the npn route with Galaxy so it does definitely work. We do both mine and NIMs address everyday.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I worry though that (especially as December's a popular time) those deals aren't guaranteed. As it's for OH's birthday it's something I'd like to get booked for definite so we don't miss out.
No balls for me again, never mind, just thought I might be having a lucky day!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
