I think Birdie ought to start finding desecration of the wierd ornaments funny.... give her some say in what goes on in her own house!
I do agree it might well be exacerbated by him being stuck at home all day.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

He's doing a good job if it is deliberate! It looks like he'll be back to work in August so I've got another 3 months of this before he's too busy to bother following me around hiding my stuff!
The problem is that he is a neat freak and mostly during the day he's sat on the sofa watching TV or playing xbox and if he sees something out of place it's all he sees and he can't concentrate until it's put away i.e. added to the pile on my desk in the spare room etc! And once he gets started he can't stop. This only applies to my stuff though, his crud can lie around forever and never get on his nerves!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. To be honest, he just actually enjoy winding me up and trying to get a rise out of me, especially in public but I'm not sure that this is part of it. Usually he'll just try to pick a fight and egg me on to bite back at him. Why is this fun I wonder? It just gets me upset!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. That would upset me too Birdie, you're his fiancee not his little sister!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Afternoon everyone!
Just got back from my exam, dont want to sound overconfident, but i think it went pretty well - heres hoping!!
Sorry to hear your OH is annoying you again Birdie. I think i would be tempted to play him at his own game and just keep getting more stuff out, is that really childish of me lol.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I totally understand that he might be getting a bit stir crazy, but when I'm on my own all day I try to make OH's life easier when he gets home as I'm pleased to see him. I'm sure he just doesn't realise how much it gets to you - you've made a huge commitment to each other by buying a flat together and getting engaged and it's awful that you feel uncomfortable in your own home.
Well done Flower! Sounds like you worked hard for it - are you up to anything tonight to celebrate?
ps. I just won a book! Finally... And now I'm not sure I even want any of them! I've read a couple, don't fancy the Katie Price, but I've gone for Things I want my daughter to know - sounds like quite a good holiday read. Is this the one you went for Tete?LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Thanks poddle, well my evening will consist of more revision as i have another exam tomorrow morning! Boo...
Oh well will all be over soon.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Oh poor Flower, but you're right it'll all be done with soon enough and you won't know what to do with your time! Glad to hear today's was ok for you!
Congrats Poddle, have you been off eating chocolate all day?! I got that one the last time yep, looks a bit weepy. I went for The Other Boleyn Girl today and the only other one I'd fancy would be The Memory Keeper's Daughter but I've already got that so I mightn't bother with it anymore, give someone else a chance!
Birdie, I liked Flower's idea of just getting all your stuff out all the time, though that'll probably result in it being stuffed down the side of the sofa with your jumper and magazine!
OK I'm off home after a little flurry of activity at the end. Have sent out a load of emails so I'm going to have a load of replies and questions and probably complaints to come in to in the morning *sob*
Have a good night everyone! xWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Well he's just text me to say 'Love you' so he's over his little huff now and worrying because I haven't text him yet! I hope it is just cabin fever and it'll get better once he goes back to work. What bugs me is that he was faffing around putting things away that didn't necassarily need putting away all morning but the bathroom desperately needs cleaning and he won't touch it!
Anyway... enough of the whole woe is me stuff!
Well done on the exam Flower, I'm sure you aced it! It's been a long time since I did any exams but I think when you've done well you can feel it! I hope your next one goes well too!
Poddle, congrats on winning the book! I just picked mine up today (I chose 'No Angel' but I'm hoping I can win another one as I want 'Things I want my daughter to know'!) so it seems like they're sending them out quite quickly!

Birdie sit him down and set him straight, you're working all day, you're coming home and tidying up after him and cleaning up while he plays the xbox and then you have the stress of a huff, its not a way to live happily. And saying' I love you' means nothing if he doesn't listen!
Anyway, home time now.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
