Gallery - A picture URL (Web address) cannot contain spaces.

Does anyone know what this means?

Enjoy your relaxing afternoon Flower! Although, money making doesn't sound too relaxing. I vote chocolate and watching a really bad daytime channel 4 movie.

Tete - Those brownies are loverly! I've not managed to mess them up either, so after years of flat bitter brownies I'm well chuffed!
The 'saved' £10 will be put towards taking OH out for dinner on Monday, he's got a manky eye, so it's anything to cheer the droopy faced on up at the moment. Was thinking Pizza Gut because he loves it there, but I think it'll be beyond manic on a BH. Will have to have a butchers at Martins Restaurant vouchers.
Your meeting sounds .. fun, anything for a doodling session!

Hi all! Great news about the pay Wendz, and well done on the exam Flower, enjoy your bit of time off before the next one! Brownies sounds yummy Tete, fancy sending some my way?!
We're having a team meeting tomorrow and one of the points to discuss is internet usage, so it looks like I'll be on here less during the day so I don't get in trouble!
When I got home last night OH showed me our spare room; he had sorted it out and it is all clean and tidy and lovely, I think it was a peace offering! He seemed really nervous about showing me though in case he'd put things in the wrong place, but I can live with what he's done so it's OK! I think he just needs to know that he's not acting very well from time to time to keep him in check, like I said, I don't stand up for myself very often (the youngest child, the quietest, shyest one of my family so I've never spoken up about things!) so when I do I think it comes as a shock and he knows that something's really wrong and he has to fix it!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

    Hey everyone,

Whew, I read and posted a little on the 1st thread, but this one's been even harder to keep up with. I've been poorly though, so it's been good to have something to entertain me over the past few days. Loved reading everyone's news.

Dinah - congrats on being debt-free and well done for all the progress you've made since. That's exciting news about the possible exhibition - are you going to post some photos of your paintings so we can have a gander?

The talk of siggies and money-saving has kicked me into touch a bit too - I've gone completely off the rails this month and bought a whole new wardrobe. It had to happen at some point though, I was going to work every day looking like a bag lady. Now I've got lots of frilly blouses, pedal-pushers and bright red Mary-Janes to look fab in while I contemplate the poor state of my finances!

Hope you're all having a good day - good luck to those taking exams.

    xx

That is good about your OH Birdie, he does sound like a nightmare but people can be like that when they have no work. I remember when i was younger and my dad got made redundent and he was just a pain , always bugging me etc. Think it is a bit of cabin fever but don't let him get away it!

Glad things are getting better Birdie. That description of the rugby head ornament really made me laugh. Do you think it still might be in danger of an 'accident'?

Aw, that's good news Birdie, see what sulking can get you? (Nowhere with my OH but I do try! :p)

Sorry to hear about your OH's 'manky eye' Cinny!! You're a kind soul - hope he enjoys pizza hut, my OH's a bit partial too. I'm hoping to get the 2 steaks for a tenner deal in a pub tonight with one of Martin's vouchers :D

Feeling much better thanks, just tired. I'm pootling around having a half-hearted clear out (to make space for new clothes!). Can't believe how much junk one girl (who to be fair doesn't shop that much) can accumulate in 2 years. I'm a bit scared of ebay, so I sympathise, Flower!
