It was Dinah yeah the one in Bill. To be fair I've eaten there a few times (and the one in Shotton) and the food is nice enough (for zapped pub food) and we've never had a prob before, just wanted to vent! Don't know the one in Norton at all.

Aw, have a lovely time in Ireland NIM, are you looking forward to soda bread and Barry's tea and Tayto crisps???

Great news on the houses Wendz, how are the prices these days? Everyone keeps on about how they're going down but they still seem v expensive to me!!

I have done a few of the Sizzlers through Msing. The first one was dreadful, over an hours wait for the food. The second one was ok, feed nice enough. Did a third on Sunday and it was fab! Just reading the paper and noticed the £9.99 deal so we may go back to pub 3 one week when we have no Ms meals out:rotfl:. Although it will be a shock to have a meal out and have to pay for it oursleves:eek:.......but the good part no paper work afterwards:j

    Enjoy your trip NIM

I quite like PE but OH complains the pizzas are too small and refuses to go! We normally share a lange pizza hut pizza, but if one day I decide to have lasagne or something he still gets a large pizza to himself. And then finishes off my leftovers. Sheesh!

House prices are still expensive. I don't really know any different though as never went to buy a house before! We are looking at houses in Surrey, so pretty pricey. A lot of the ones I have seen will need a bit of work doing on decoration etc

I have 4 exams still to go Flower!! but haven't started any of them yet so I'm supposed to be revising but its so hard!! Have you finished all of yours yet?

Dinah and NIM, have loads of fun in Ireland!! I bet its nice to be able to go home, I love being able to come home from uni for a bit of a breather sometimes!
OH got his last £25 through from the ING offer but I'm not sure I'm going to get mine though :( still a nice £125 between us for not a lot of effort and we're going to keep our ing accounts open for if we get sent the offer again!

The boy is also looking into MBing but I don't know, it all confuses me a little bit! Will be good though, has anyone else on here got it?!
Cinny - I read this thing in the paper about Ladbrokes doing a thing if you lose but you can throw your betting slip in the bin from a distance you get your stake back? how cool is that lol! It made me think of your OH, does he do that at his store yet?
I had an interview today, I hope it went ok but I was sooo nervous and it wasn't great and it was on the phone... Hope I get the placement though even though I will deffo have to just up and move to somewhere a bit random!
No good surveys or anything else moneywise seems to be falling on me recently, which is a problem because as much as I am trying to save for things, I have decided that I really do need to complete my Ugg boot collection with a short pair... and shudoo have a 20% off code at the minute.... So if I can magically find £112 from somewhere asap... I can have the shoesies!! (I know its summer but they are soooo comfy!!) Any one got any ideas? (the ING money is allready stashed and accounted for I'm afraid lol)
The boy did win about £50 at poker though which is a good start, but then he spent half of it on 'stuff' and I will have to try and prise the other half from him... good plan maybe...!!
Also should be getting about £20 from my homepages friends before the end of may but I never know if I need to email them to ask about it! Does anyone else use this? if you don't but you want to let me know and maybe I can refer you lol
I hope you find a house wendz! I think (I'm guessing from your username) youre only a bit older than me.. born in 86?! and its so cool that you are looking to buy allready, I have no idea even where I'm going to live but will probably just have to move for a job :(
Anyways I think this is my longest post ever ever..
Also I just got 2 random pieces of post to my house which are for my friend and her dad!? how random lol

    I'll check in later,
    Loves xx

Hi tinkerbel, only more exam left for me, thank god!! Good luck with your exams and i hope you get the placement you had the interview for!!

Im feeling really depressed about finishing uni, because there are just no jobs in the area i want!! I know we're in the middle of a recession, but dont they know i need a job lol. Apparently this is one of the worst years to be finishing uni due to the state of the economy, great!
Anyway after alot of discussion with my mum and OH, i have decided that one OH and i get moved i will just try get some sort of admin job to get some money in, will just have to keep an eye out for other things then. Not really what i pictured myself doing when i finished uni but never mind!

Yeah I am 1986, 22 years old. Am very lucky to be having parents help in getting on the property ladder, will be paying them back!! They were going to buy somewhere for us to rent off them but turns out would be better for us to just buy with their help with deposit. Also helps that OH has just got in police so will be taking a substancial pay increase on what he gets now.

We were looking at keyworker housing last night but don't seem to have much available really.

Is so hard getting a job after uni especially at the moment. I was really lucky with mine as i did a work placement here and they offered me a job after it. I have friends though who have only just managed to get jobs, who finished uni last year. My best friend finished uni this year and is off to Australia, think she is going to just get a bar job or something, does sound good though.
  • what are you studying at uni flower ? im feeling much better now on the sick front still in pjs and i dont intend to be dancing arund anywhere today..... just playing with numbers :D xx
