I am sorry but it is not "crest "who manufactures the strips, so whoever you phoned up at "crest" was not someone who could give you a guarantee of validity or not. Crestuk is merely an illegal distributor of whitening strips. They are a group of uk marketers who have no connection with the manufacturers and owners of the whitening strips and indeed sell other " brands".
Interestingly there is a thriving Market in buying wholesale unboxed whitening strips. What happens to the boxes and why are retailers not bothered about buying boxed strips? Is it because they buy in separately authentic looking boxes?
Proctor and Gamble are the manufacturers of crest whitening strips and the owners of the crest brand. They will not sell to wholsalers in the UK or anywhere else in the EU as it is illegal. I doubt very much anyone at P and G would verify over the phone that an easily counterfeited product you have they can't see is genuine. If you ended up with burns etc as has happened to many people from counterfeit items , they might be seen to be liable.0 -
I have used Listerine and Crest Whitening Strips and found both to be very effective however I only ever buy them myself in the US (in estbalished pharmacy chains) and I only used them after bringing my first pack home and chatting it over with my dentist first to get his views.
I wouldn't consider buying anything like this from ebay or amazon - the results could be catastrophic and irreversible. Not worth taking the risk.0 -
People may be interested in this enquiry which seems to be from the owner of crestwhitening strips site in the uk asking about ways to get around the legalities of selling in the uk. http://www.justanswer.com/uk-law/3xqzj-uk-website-www-crestwhitestrips-co-uk-technically.html0

NOOO dont use an offer. Get it done properly and by that I mean the first not last place to start is your own dentist. Just yesterday I had a guy in wanting tooth whitening but I actually talked him out of it because it wasnt suitable. I would be cautious if your daughter is under 18 too as the nerves of the teeth are much bigger so can be much more sensitive or even more prone to damage.
I`ll say again ... See your DENTIST. Aside from anything else, anyone not dentally qualified is doing tooth whitening illegally anyway.0 -
I REALLY wouldnt go there! It doesnt even tell you who is doing it - dentists? hygienists? someone that went on a course?? I am not convinced by laser whitening ... but what TYPE of laser? Do they use an activating gel?
If you sat down with your mouth open for 45 minutes and a light shining on them I guarantee they will look whiter due to dehydration and you will have saved yourself £95.
Dentist dentist dentist!0 -
Unqualified beauticians who want you to sign a disclaimer indemnifying them against problems arising from treatment and unsatisfactory results. The website won't even tell you what chemicals are used.
"laser " is fraudulent as lasers need special licences to use can only be used in approved clinics and are not used in tooth whitening.
Spend £95 if you want an unqualified person putting unknown chemicals on one of the most sensitive parts of your daughters body, in the illegal practice of dentistry. It may have permanent unwanted results.
If she wants teeth whitening get her to see a dentist for a safe option. Alternatively buy her a spa day, it'll be fun, relaxing and not potentially permanently damaging.0 -
