They are banned in the UK (or at least not tested) - you should be able to get them on ebay.

They are good, I've used them, but I'm sure they are banned because of the level of hydrogen peroxide that is in them.

You'll have to get them from the link above that you posted - it says at the bottom of the page that they're not available to buy in UK stores so looks like £50 + P&P is your only option unless you know anyone going to the US in the near future

They're packaged differently from the ones you buy in the USA and I wouldn't be surprised if they're a different formula as I think hieveryone is right in saying the're banned. They're certainly far more expensive than the US version.

Toothsmith is usually pretty knowledgeable in this area, he may see your message and some point and advise properly. I agree, the packaging is different and that would concern me slightly, as the ones I bought in America look nothing like that.

You could try ebay.com and check out someone with high feedback that ships to UK?

As I said, they are good, but at the end of the day, they are banned in this country for a reason, and you would be using them at your own risk.

OH bought some Crest Whitestrips pro effects from Amazon, which were £27.95 plus p&p , and gave great results within a few days.

No they don't because they're not licensed here. That does mean that you're at the mercy of the integrity of the internet. Not always the best thing to trust your teeth to.

It was only a couple of years ago that some fake sensodyne toothpaste from China or Turkey or similar was discovered to have very dangerous levels of toxins in it. So don't think no-one would bother to fake whitestrips.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
  • sorry if I appear dumb but it's all so confusing if these products are banned how come there so widely available from places like ebay and amazon etc? i suffer with ocd and have difficulty with my thought process i can't work out which products are not banned and which one to buy
