I'd definatley second EDSS, best holiday ever!

Great cocktails, 24 hour room service included, and all al a carte meals, no buffet lines to wait in. Very friendly staff, Swim up rooms are fab!

If I was heading off to Mex this year, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Did you go with First Choice? Wondered how your flights were? This hotel does sound great but I didn't warm to the transfer time.. :D

Have you decided where you are going yet i cannot make my mind up for next year, long haul or europe. Bet we end up in mexico again hubby loves it.

Chatbug, earlier this year we went on a Europe holiday and unfortunately because the current euro rate is so low it was very expensive. We stayed in a 3* hotel and ate out alot but we ended up spending so much it would have been much better and cheaper to book an AI longhaul at a 4* or 5* resort.

  • Yeah, went first choice, it was the only way i could find to get there, first choice chic and unique brochure. Flights were good, seated in premium!

If there's anything specific you want to know, just shout
  • Oh and you can just book taxi transfer when you book.

    Hello,

Anyone got any suggestions for end of November into December holiday destinations - 2 weeks ?

Last year went to Cuba in November and had a great deal but the weather was off season and not very good. Previously have been to Mauritius in November and the weather was good but it cost soooooooooooooo much!

Hi stupotstu, I know someone who went to Cape Verde but can't remember what time of year he went. They stayed at the AI Rui hotel in the Thompson brochure and said it was good, however this hotel was in the middle of nowhere really so you couldn't go for a walk outside of the resort or anything.. This was a year or so ago though, thinks may have changed abit since..

    Cape Verde update

A paramedic that I know went to Cape Verde and had the best time on an all inclusive. She said that they were given the full 5 star treatment and as cape verde is a "new" holiday area the staff are lovely and not at all jaded and resentful like they can be.

    Am booking next week!!!
