Caribbean/Faraway Holiday - Recommendations please

Our neighbours have just come back from Antigua and they loved it. They have family over in St Lucia who recommended it to them.

We went to Barbados in July 2009. We stayed at Mango Bay which is situated in Holetown. The hotel is fairly small and quite 'boutique' like if you will.
It's an All Inclusive hotel and the food is gorgeous, we stayed for 7 nights and it was different food every night. You get breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and then your evening meal. It is set out like a restaurant so you get menus not buffet.
The staff are above and beyond, so friendly and helpful.
The hotel was situated literally on the beach, it was gorgeous. The hotel also organise free trips such as swimming with the turtles, glass bottom boat etc.
Holetown itself is just like a normal town but with a different culture - as we went only for a week, we only got the bus in once but felt safe at all times. We asked a local Bajan lady where to go in the town and she pretty much turned in to our local guide! She was lovely.
We're going back in a couple of years, once we saved more!

We flew with Virgin Atlantic, going we went Premium but coming back we went Economy, the flight is 8 hours but Virgin are brilliant and the flight was comfortable with your usual long haul gadgets - tv, films, magazines, drinks etc.

Just back from Thailand! 18 days. Stayed in both Bangkok and then on the beach in Patong (Phuket). It is a crazy place but w had a great time. I would definately recommend it! Booked with travelbag asia!
