Erm ..thanks...already did (forget). Might fit an airbrick or two to help airflow. On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0 -
Ordered one yesterday, email today out of stock!!
See it is back up to £799....................I say what I like, I like what I say!0 -
I ordered one, received email with order refrence, and then the next day received email saying my order had been cancelled, out of stock. So I phoned them, guy said they would be in stock next week. If I wanted one I would have to reorder at new price £799.00. Is there anything I can do to get them to accept my orginal order?Titch0

Well had plumber out today to give me additional water supply next to where the fridge will be - All fine & dandy and ready to go. Whilst plumber in house had curries call to check dimensions of doorways etc - i mentioned installation and they dont do installation!! so why did they take £30 from my card to install!! Apparently none of there delivery guys are qualified in this area for these fridges!!!
So anyway mentioned it to plumber and said should be easy enough for us to do - He had only done one previously but that had an external filter and basically gave us instructions on how to install
But my Q is - Is the filter on this fridge external or Internal?? Whilst from what plumber said it should be easy either way - Just wanted to know?? Also if external do they supply fridge with a filter ready to use - or do i need to get myself on ebay??
Cheers

my sister brought one of these and had to pay EXTRA DELIVERY CHARGE because needed 3 people to lift it ??I would love to be a Travel Agent :j0

Im 99% sure its an external filter looking at this link.
http://www.uk-fridge-filters.co.uk/category13/product19/product_info.html.
Mine is delivered on Sunday and I have made provision for the filter to go in a nearby cupboard making a neater job and filter easier ti change.
I have connected 3 american fridges in the past and all came with filters so I would assume this one does.
A tip is to let the water run for a while into a bucket or drain to flush the new pipework of debris and bad taste before conecting the fridge. On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0 -
The filter is an external cartrige which needs to be mounted somewhere.. under kitchen unit prefrebly i guess..
on a side note.. i live in Birmingham.. and I dont like the taste of the water from the fridge.. its tastes plasticy..so im not sure if this is to do with filter placement (under sink with all cleaners etc..) or is it the filter itself? its been like that from start.
the only thing different on mine is that the the supplied white water tubing wasnt long enough so i used a different tubing..same dimensions but longer.. also its clear and not as rigid as the one supplied.. not sure if this could be an issue as well..
any suggestions appreciated0 -

Is it food grade tubing? This is the stuff you should use, not the stuff for tropical fish
I dont think under the sink is a cause . Loads of plumbing inder most sinks without problem. On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0 -
haha its not tropical fish stuff.. i bought it from http://www.chemicalsupport.co.uk/
and they had to order it in.... cost me £12 inc post.. as samsung wanted £22 for a longer cable (wish i had just used a wasing machine pipie to extend now,,)0
