    Hi

    Can anybody tell me :

i have read the colour is silver
is this like a matt silver or stainless steel look ?

Ours is in the garage waiting for our kitchen to be fitted. It is a darker silver colour, I think it is sometimes described as gunmetal, and is shiny

Samsung do few different finishes on these fridges, some silvers are light, others darker. They also do a stainless steel finish which is more expensive. I'm after the one that has the black glass finish, cheapest I've seen it is £1060 online - anyone seen it cheaper or any deals going on it?
  • I have just ordered mine!!! Selected delivery for the 25th. Used the £35 discount and also through quidco

Only thing im worried about is the space - My existing space measure approx 920mm - Item spec states 908mm - Is that giving me enough room do you reckon??? The figures say yes - but cutting it fine!! lol :undecided

Also more than a metre away from the water supply - About 1.5 metres away - so dont know whether they will fully install?? fingers crossed!! Cant see anything on website detailing terms of installation

    Cheers

Leigh, my advice is to extend the water supply ready for this appliance while you can (ie beforehand). I think they use a washing machine hose to connect it so you need to be that far away. I would check out a plumbing suppliers for the longest hose available, may have a suitable one!

as for 920mm, as long as that is correct all the way up that 12mm is plenty of room. We have a few mm only on ours and no problems!

Washing machine hoses available in 6ft lenghs and can be joined, then would have to use 2 x 3/4 washing machine taps to join hose to fridge pipe (assuming 3/4 hose fitting) . Im a plumber so just ask if you need help with plumbing. The white small water pipe that comes with this type of fridge is usually at least a couple of metres long so check that out first before extending plumbing.

Anyhow, Im looking for help myself. The depth of the fridge is 714mm and I have 720 mm ( then door in the way ) . There is a big electric cable ( mains into the house) running diaginally behind where the fridge will go to a maximum height of 60mm.

So what I need to know is has this fridge got a void at the bottom that can accomadate the cable and possibly also a double electrical socket?......hope this makes sense. In other words need to push fridge fully back .

    Thanks

  • Thanks for your replies folks. Looked further into the curries website and its states that water supply must be within 1.5 metres - Mine is just over and through 2 cabinets and behind the cooker - Somehow i dont think they will go to all that trouble  On the other side of the wall the the fridge is going against is my WC which has a pipe coming out of the floor right next to the wall - which supplies the taps in the sink - Maybe would be better from there? Whatever way - it is all beyond me so will be calling the plumber tomorrow (Bestyman, your not in the Plymouth area at all are you??)

Also realise i had a bit of a 'blonde' moment when originally measuring - Didnt take into account the skirting board :wall: So will have to whip that off

Again thanks for your help folks

    Leigh-Anne

PS - went to see it in curries today - really quite snazzy

I went to local Currys and asked if they would match online deal. Yes, also give me a discretionary additional amount off and final bill was £500. Delighted with that as I was also guaranteed a delivery date - today - yipee!

Bestyman, Do not forget the 50mm gap you have to leave between the back of the Fridge Freezer and the wall for ventilation............
