  • I don't believe the story told to watchdog...surely he had insurance for those packages that were "lost" so that he could pay everyone back? And why wasn't he so forthcoming with that information to all the people on here that have been constantly emailing him for refunds?
  • I placed my order the 29/6/09 was then fooled to wait 2 months for the items. did not get them of course. Asked for my refund back 20/09/09. Nothing happened except for all the usual mails everybody receives. Now i Have filed a claim in small money claim court.

    I have struggled with this for almost half a year now, I i just so tired.

  • Working hypothetically on the law of averages Chris has said he has had £60,000 of orders go missing by The Royal Mail, at roughly £50 per order that's 1200 orders The Royal Mail have lost. If this was indeed the case, then surely a major investigation by The Royal Mail and the Police would be underway as that is a major theft case to investigate?

    Like an idiot fell into the same trap - ordered perfume - got the standard lost in the post response after it did not arrive and waited 15 days as requested. After researching this company (bit late now I know) cancelled order. Not expecting easy refund of my money.

    16 Dec - At least got a response -

    'A full refund will now be processed in accordance with our terms.'

    So need to wait up to 30 days to see what happens.

    17 Dec - Good news - refund appeared via credit card, so almost instant response. Still would never deal with this company again but maybe all the pressure paying off.

    Im another one!Ordered on the 25/11. Dispatched on 1/12. Nothing received and all the same emails. I have cancelled today and requested a refund. Let's wait and see - ever the optimist.
  • I thought he told watchdog that all orders after September 29th would be delivered!! Doesn't look like that's happening does it. Hope Trading Standards and the police are watching this forum!!
  • Hi Everyone - Update and good news!! After my request to cancel the order the perfume mysteriously turned up after 2 days. I now have it albiet too late to post off abroad for the Christmas present it was suppossed to be!! Still better late than never. I will however, never use them again and always check reviews now before ever buying anything online!!
  • I have ordered some fragrance from Perfume Emporium through amazon, i thought that as i was ordering through Amazon i would be protected. I have now discoverd this forum and am feeling slightly foolish.

    I am now keep track of all my corraspondence with the seller.
