When I was down in the stretford store an interesting sign caught my eye regarding 'managers specials'.
I can't remember exactly what it said, but it was along the lines of "managers specials are 'sold as seen'; returns won't be accepted for damage identified to the customer before purchase."

I guess this is just a catch-all statement to cover them if a particular 'managers special' is a damaged/incomplete/return/refurb'ed item, rather than every 'managers special' falling into one of these categories.

You still have rights under SOGA if the goods you buy have a fault not connected to the defect pointed out at the time of sale. i.e. if you buy a TV and it says "scratched, no remote" but when you get home you find it has a blown pixel you can return it.

  • I really would like one of this TV. Is it really not on offer at other branches? It's just so unfair! Anywhere in London or Essex???
