The model number is 42XV553DB, I have just looked and mine is the 42XV555DB which is I believe the same spec set but the 553 has a silver base and silver trim along the front at the bottom of the frame, the 555 is completely black. Its 40" wide including trim and 27" high including the stand. HTH

We are really pleased that this Toshiba TV has got you all talking, we only got them yesterday and the response has been amazing, the phone hasn't stopped ringing all day!!

When I closed the shop tonight we still had 6 available to buy, but we are not taking anymore pre-orders, you would need to come down to the store to get one.

The TV is a great deal, and you will only find them in our branch. We get them directly from one of our warehouses and you won't find them in the catalogue.

We are hoping to get more in the next few days so keep checking in-store, or give us a call on 0845 1657 215. If we can secure more TV's from the warehouse we are considering setting up a waiting list.

I might be wrong but I think he means only in his store, if they can get more in then they will set up a waiting list for any that miss out on what he currently has in stock.

You are right mookie... no other stores will have them and they wont be going online. We are the only store in Northern England that stocks these lines and we are hoping to get some more in a few days.

We have plenty more bargains that you won't find anywhere else including Nintendo Wii's for £132 and Wii Remotes for under £15! We are also expecting Wii Fits in a few days at about £54!

Come on down to Argos Stretford and see what we have!

I went into the store to have a look what all the fuss was about as I needed a new tv. I talked to a member of staff, and got one on 0% credit as I don't get paid till next week. WELL HAPPY!!!! What a bargain. Thank you!!

glad it helped someone to find a bargain i am currently looking for a new tv myself but it's to big for the space i have.
