I bought this TV online for £499 a couple of months ago. It's a fab picture and not too big. I was afraid it would look huge but it doesn't, in fact we could have gone bigger!

If you have a John Lewis in the same area you could get them to price match and get a free 5 year guarantee.

Can someone who has just bought one of these TVs tell me...

- Do they have any scratches on the body of the set?
- Are they okay at showing normal sky TV (not HD?)

You are right mookie... no other stores will have them and they wont be going online. We are the only store in Northern England that stocks these lines and we are hoping to get some more in a few days.

Can you tell me what branch in southern England may stock these lines, please??

I brought the wii fit from the arndale store as managers special for 130 odd and was told it was due to the boxes being damadged but the box was in perfect condition and worked fine.

Only thing I would say is that the seal on the wii sports game was broken so not quite sure what was going on there?
Other than that the other parts looked brand new and sealed.

Going on that would consider buying the tv but don't need one.Thanks anyway op

Been back today again for a mooch round and heard them saying there may be more at the end of the week, and something about a 32" Sony tv on offer next week? Had a good look round the shop today, and there's loads going cheap,other tvs, digital recorders, ipods etc. Seemed to be loads of wii remotes left.

This is typical this is just the deal ive been looking for for over two weeks, and i've been keeping an eye on this site and missed it, can't believe it and i've been near the store today as well thats just my luck, can some one post back if they hear of this deal else where or in this store........

what makes this argos so special, the rep from the store says that they get them from the argos warehouse, which presumably supplies more than one argos, so how come this store is the only one getting it
