Betheebee - Your poor hand ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) to it and you. I'd have felt the same way re your DH's comment - it's the sort of thing that my DH would be rolling around at having said! Could the rash be from the Japonica? I only ask as I had itchy hands last year every time I handled mine. I never thought to put gloves on until July :rotfl: :o

    Hi guys,

A very late happy birthday Lamewolf. I hope you had a good one. xxx

I blitzed the house yesterday and so it only needed a quick going over today and I have finally caught up with the mountain of washing :j The ironing will be a job for tomorrow. A day of piece and quiet was never meant to be interrupted by irreverant thoughts, loud cursing and an achy back - well not today anyway. :rotfl:

I had tomato soup for lunch and knocked up a bologneise for tea and have some of the pasta left for tomorrow (pasta salad I think with tuna and sweetcorn). I'm only in on Thursday this week and so looking forward to a couple more quiet days this week.

N9eve - I was on Fistral beach last week with the kids and it truly is a beautiful beach (as are they all around Newquay). I envy you living so close to it and our trip down there has seriously made me think about where we will be living a few years down the line when we will be in a better position to sell up and move.

Betheebee - ouch!! I cut a finger many years ago trying to get a plughole to drain by swishing my finger around it to move food and there was broken glass in there. You have my sympathies. xxx

Pen-pin, Good luck tomorrow, I will be thinking of you. xxx

Gentle hugs to all who could do with one, especially Nic. xxx

    Goodnight all,

    Smoky. xxxxx
