Ok nearly all jobs done, only corgettes to carry over tomorrow, dinner is prepped, and I will put the pork in at 3 to slow roast.
I have made a banana loaf, 12 banana muffins, and 12 choc chip cup cakes.
Has a cheese and beetroot sandwich for lunch , and am now going to sit for 1/2 hour and read my book, before picking dd up, and starting all over again.
Will take little dog up the beach later, she is curled up fast asleep next to me, bliss
Edited to say, welcome Jade, and welcome back Haribo xx0 -
This will sound strange but would someone weigh 2 ordinary weetabix for me please? Grammes or ounces I'm not fussy. I'm going to make another weetabix loaf but only have weetabix minis in honey & nut. I thought that these would make a nice change, as well as being OS and using them up
but I have no idea how many to use so figured an equal weight would work the same. Thank you in advance

Well, we went on a bus into town, bought little bear a hat (as I didn't have a summer one) and some yellow sticker bread buns for 10p. They were sunblest, so personally I think that is more than they were worth, but we took another bus to a big park with a lake and the ducks wouldn't eat the bread!
Now I know I can do it, I am going to plan more and get further out.
Sort of stir fry thing for tea - Sainsburys frozen mixed peppers are cheaper per pound than their fresh value peppers. Less waste but the cost of storage. I need to check the packaging for salt.
LB is supposed to be settling down for a nap. My back and foot are complaining but I am sure that they are up to some ironing but I am taking five minutes first.
JadeLD - evil cat is an elderly tabby with a malevolent disposition. She has a kidney problem that is being treated currently by diet, and she is doing remarkably well. I have just been broken off this typing because evil cat wanted the door opened to upstairs, and she paused indecisively at the foot of the stairs next to the creaking door with her tail swishing until little bear (my son, just over 2) was disturbed from the start of his nap before racing upstairs as if being chased by demons. This is normal for her. Now, free peppermint soap sounds even better.

Afternoon all.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes.
PennyPenguin really sorry I missed wishing your DD a happy birthday - I know what happened; you started the thread, and by the time I'd read to the end, I just plain forgot who had said what at the start.I'm afraid the lupus really does affect my memory - I guess I ought to go back to making notes as I read the thread, but I don't always have enough energy to do that.
:(
Anyway, I've made tomato bread and poppy seed rolls today, and that's it. I have to save some energy as we're out to dinner at TGI Friday tonight (Tbh, I'd as soon not go, but Mr LW likes to take me out for my birthday).
Hope everyone has a good day, ((((HUGS)))) to those who are less than happy, and to anyone else who would like one.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

You see, this thread is brilliant. I think the collective wisdom on this board can solve anything!
Edited to add - Pink's post came up while I was typing and I have no idea how to quote two separate quotes in the same post. Sorry. But I do think that the people on this thread a wonderful.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
Red Ruby & Pink :T Thank you very much for weighing weetabix for me. My DS2 & DH have just almost wet themselves laughing at my query
but I told them that I was confident I'd have the answer soon :A
Sybil - I suffer from migraines so sympathise with anyone with a headache. Hope that the paracetamol work soon.0 -

Honestly you can ask anything on here and someone will know. It's amazing.
Still haven't done anything. Paracetamol starting to work nicely (:o not a migraine but still glad it is fading). LB still not had a nap. However as he is playing really happily I am loathe to disturb him.
I'll have another cuppa and then I definitely certainly absolutely will get moving. I have to stew the rhubarb to freeze, sort out the kitchen at the minimum, and I want to get the washer going.
What does anyone recommend for greasy stains in LB's clothes? I wash on low temperatures, with Sainsburys Own. Should I just add washing soda? Or do I need to bite the bullet and up the temperature?Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0
